This morning I encountered yet another comment asking if I had really earned over $100 on my Scorum post.. or if this place was a scam?

To the novice eye, blockchain social media seems all too good to be true. It's hard to believe in a economic structure based solely around community responsibility.. but guess what, it works!

It's why we're all here. The Steemit model is a beautiful thing, and what makes Steemit so enticing is the ability to earn big bucks on the right post!

At Scorum, it would be so exciting to see real world figures for your post. Seeing a post at .20 cents earnings would not only entice others to give the author a bit more (in terms of voting power), but it would raise the motivation of the user base to create better content and earn substantial crypto which they can eventually turn to fiat. The endgoal for 90% of users here is to have stability in terms of writing on a blog or being able to shark the sportsbook.. and with real time earnings figures in USD, real value would become apparent to every user and even motivate me to write everyday.

When Scorum was worth .50 cents per token, it was more than ok to represent these high earnings as the only divisor was 1/2... no we are at 1/50 so we need change.

It is June 2nd and we are closing in our year anniversary. I hope this coming week brings us some true updates, it's been months since the new roadmap should have taken it's recourse but we hadn't heard much before that...

We seem to be walking a tightrope with a blindfold on at the moment. I'm not here to spread FUD but how many Sundays must pass with still no word on literally anything.

I understand that crypto is still in its infancy and these things take time.. but, small fixes can make the world of difference.

I would honestly say that correcting the earnings to their proper amount is of more importance than adding more sports. If there are problems and costs with making the earnings right, the team should reach out to the community.

Countless users have said they could honestly make corrections for not nearly as much as the Scorum team is most likely paying...

We are not against each other in this... we all want this place to succeed.

Let the community help, we have so many bright minds with influence.. we can make changes, just let us conform to where this platform is headed.
