A certain user (who shalln't be named) asked me this morning as to why I support posts (such as the one imaged below)...

I upvote these posts as a symbol of gratitude for the new user joining the beautiful Scorum platform.. but it's also to motivate them to stay once I guide them with a comment.

There are a few users who make sure to mold new users when they do stay 'sports-centric', and those users should be lauded.

Just today @idunique made a great commen in guiding this new user @tutulanko to avoid flagging.. she should simply write about sports and make the posts a bit more lengthy.

I appreciate this so much as it gives us another valuable user instead of creating a deterrent for the curious. Some people are simply unaware that Scorum is Sports based, it is very plausible they are a Steemit convert where all subjects are permissible.. and that is complete understandable.

It is our job as Scorum veterans to guide new users into writing quality posts on sports and the like..

This was just my take on supporting new users wholeheartedly even if some things seem spammy or not quality... Try and teach instead of flaming into dust. Thanks.
