This may be somewhat selfish as mma is obviously my favorite past time, but the /r/mma fanbase and numerous prediction channels online would be inclined to at least trying betting...
Scorum can be a pioneer in sports betting by gaining the more 'niche' crowd first. Soccer will always be a mainstay, but that sport should have been added last when we have the user base for it.
I understand the thinking in building soccer on the platform first as that may introduce itself to a wider public, but it would be smarter to approach a more compact and dedicated fanbase (such as martial arts fans) because it is a smaller group of people who have never needed widespread acceptance to cherish the sport they still love.
I speak from experience in this, and another big reason to add mma is ME! I would continually power down nearly a 1000 SCR a week just pumping it back into the books. I wouldn't win every week, and I'd spend big to keep volume going.
Also, mma is weekly! There is no need to consistently update fighters, if injuries happen there is always fair warning and even the DFS and fantasy mock up Scorum had created can be used for fighting as well.
There is so much potential here, it can't be squandered away! The Summer season is approaching and not only the Olympics, but National Fight Week and numerous other sports will be gaining traction... Scorum must make itself know again as it did post-launch last year!\
July of 2018 was bumping! We had continual growth and people had incredibly outlook on the prospects of what SCR could be worth in the near future.
We are a user base willing to listen and help, if the Scorum team reads this, please work with us and tell us your needs. We can try to compile crypto, effective witnesses, and just an overhaul of what needs to be done.
Maybe a lot has been done behind the scene that we don't know about, but we really need something new soon or it will start feeling lost. I don't agree with the cynics and troll abound, but I do understand their source of agony.
Hopefully the post we were promised will arrive soon enough, and I can write on the sports I love instead of Scorum news and the anticipation of it...
