Just when things, seemed to be moving forward, you suddenly find yourself three steps backward, this really, must be how, Real Madrid head coach, Santiago solari must be feeling right now, after the weekend's shocking loss to, eibar
Having made the best start of any Real Madrid manager, in history, things couldn't possibly get more rosy for the Argentine, and as such, he was appointed as Real Madrid's permanent new manager, a statement victory, was all he required, to further win the hearts, of all those affiliated with the club, but this defeat, must have casted doubts among them, and unfortunately for solari, Florentino Perez has no scruples in pulling the plug on any manager, as he must have witnessed with his predecessor, a few more bad results and he definitely would be getting the axe, from the Real Madrid president
Real Madrid went into this game on the back of four successive victories, and would have been looking to extend that run, when they faced eibar on Saturday, but this turned out to be an acid test, for solari and his boys, who were thrashed 3-0, by the La liga minnows, things escalated quickly, from the referees whistle, eibar were on the front foot, and hit the post in the third minute, that was a warning sign for Madrid, but one they didn't heed, it wasn't long enough before eibar got their first, through escalante, it was initially ruled out for offside, but was later awarded by VAR
It was a woeful performance from Madrid to say the least, and Santiago solari watching on from the dugout, must have been wondering where his players must have gone, they were simply a shadow of themselves, it was surreal, such that solari must have thought he was having a nightmare
Despite conceeding three goals, Thibaut courtois was Madrid's best player, by some margin, such was the mediocrity of los blancos performance, and they simply made a mockery of Perez's decision to appoint Fernando solari as head coach
But you've got to admire the strength of solari, daring and 'adventurous', not afraid to bench any player, but could it be this same strength that would end up being his weakness at the club, Madrid is definitely not one for experiments and neither is Perez, time to stop being 'adventurous: and find a working formula, solari, seems your forgetting, your club president is actually very talented when it comes to sacking, I'm sure you don't wanna wake up to a sack letter beside your pillow, or to see perez dressed up like santa, with a giftbox of finely written sack letters, you know, were approaching Christmas and there is love in sharing, so he could decide to be 'adventurous' with your sacking, you know.
Word of Encouragement
"Sometimes, adversity can only spur you to success"
Do not be derailed, by this defeat "winners never quit and quitters never win"
This challenges, should serve as the darkness, your star needs to shine in, after all stars don't shine in light, when everything is already perfect
