For football, Woman's World Cup and several men's continental competitions are proceeding. I am paying attention to Copa America held in Brazil. Currently, group stage 1 of 3 is ongoing and standings are as below. Argentina lost to Colombia but will be back in the knock-out stages. My Japan team faces Chile on 17th June. Chile is an awesome team in the second consecutive champion, so it is inevitable that many football fans to predict Chile's win.
Japan team is now the timing of generation changing. Our focusing is18-year-old Kubo. This game will be his first big international match. He has gathered attention since he was a kid because of his rich talent. A few days ago, it was revealed he contracted Real Madrid. Japanese football fans hope Kubo to be the first Japanese player who succeeded in La Liga since Tsubasa did it in Barcelona in the 2000s :) Anyway I hope Kuno gets a goal in this game.
Aside from football, the Cricket World Cup is in the midst of the group stage. Top four team are qualified to go to semifinals. Australia, New Zealand, England, and India occupy the top four seats as of 15th June.
