Recently people have been discussing the importance of the blogging platform compared to the betting exchange and vice versa. Many users with solid and understandable viewpoints have been saying that the betting exchange is where the real value of Scorum will eventually come from. Whilst I can see the supreme value in a commission free crypto betting exchange that is already full functioning, offers live in play betting on a super fast blockchain and is probably the best sports betting crypto exchange available right now in terms of usability and obviously fees the blogging platform still has a huge part to play.

Of course I am going to say that because I am a blogger, not a bettor, so I am going to be bias right? Well actually my viewpoint comes from roughly 13 years experience in writing for blogs, writing for clients and helping people earn increase their advertising revenue with companies such as Google, Rakuten and affiliation marketing networks.

The Scorum blogging platform is already being favoured by Google, if you write a news article chances are it will come up in Google very quickly, this is a sign that Scorum's blogging platform is being treated kindly by search engines and is therefore a fantastic source of traffic to cross promote their range of products. For example I wrote an article 2 hours ago entitled "Delray Beach ATP Predictions". If you Google that phrase you will see my article show up.

This means the blog is a natural form of free advertising for Scorum and it's users to promote the betting exchange whilst also demonstrating the capability of it making money from internal and external ads plus affiliation deals.

Affiliation deals for me will be a great source of revenue for Scorum outside the actual currency if they can strike deals with highly relevant companies for on going commission. Such deals do exist, for example withiin the gaming industry companies I know offer life time commission for every new user you refer on to their service. They pay you due to earning revenue from micro transactions. Scorum striking such deals with sports companies could prove a stabilising source of revenue for the team to continue the development of all their services.

Back to the Blog subject in hand...The blog's long term sustainability as an external source of revenue relies on users writing articles people want to search for. If people are writing quality articles, they aren't necessary articles people outside of Scorum want to read. Whilst I don't have any problem with these (some of mine could well be uninteresting to every single person on this planet) the blogging platform has the chance to thrive on serving the demand of people looking for sports content that doesn't exist on other websites so much.

For example, I already know specific tennis match previews are few and far between on other sites as there are just too many matches happening on a daily basis and not enough tennis fans out there want to write about them or can. Not everyone likes to write or can write!

There are however a lot of bettors out there looking to read research and analysis for a match in order to make a judgement of who to bet on. Simply offering previews and analysis of future tennis matches up front is an easy way for me to bring natural organic traffic into Scorum.

I already know some of my articles attract natural and targetted traffic to Scorum - that is people who are not currently registered with Scorum or know about Scorum and are interested in specific tennis matches and tournaments. I check my Scorum article on Google occasionally and write articles that I know new tennis users will be wanting information on. I write in an SEO light format to maintain a natural composition to the articles but I know the formula within articles to help them rank in search engines - it's not actually rocket science. Being a person who does SEO consultancy as part of my business as well as writing pretty much my whole working life thus far, I have my own ways to research, write and think about the articles I compromise. But if they are connected to sport, I always try to write to serve a new user rather than just myself so I choose tennis matches, players etc I know people will want to read about and attempt to offer information in a format not found on any other website in a particularly well presented or detailed format.

Once the Tennis is up on Bet Scorum I will be deep linking to matches and promoting this section of the betting exchange. This will be an easy way for me to attract new bettors and users to Scorum and attempt to get them using the exchange. Bait and switch so to speak. Without the blogging platform, I would have to do this on one of my own websites. But many writers here don't have websites to write on, so this blogging tool is vital for writers of all kinds who wish to write betting related material.

I would encourage and I would also like to see more people write betting related articles that inform users of which matches to bet on and why? Give analysis and previews to help promote the betting exchange via the blog. The most popular articles and those that will bring in new traffic are articles focused on future events rather than previous sporting events.

Obviously previous sporting events can be useful when compiling a future preview, but bettors are looking for blogs where they can gather data and different opinions on matches in order to make their own assessment before they place a bet. That is why it would be good to see all those that are strongly behind the betting exchange and who like to blog to get behind this sort of writing!

In summary, the blog will prove a great tool to promote the betting exchange on and bring in new fresh users and traffic. It is a cost effective tool for marketing Bet Scorum and can also be a hub for discussion on previous and future bets. Anyone who is a dedicated writer on a particular sport and can offer in depth analysis on future sporting events that people can bet on will prove vital to promoting Bet Scorum in a cost effective way for the team. The Blog is therefore a powerful tool for encouraging user engagement and increasing the awareness of the Scorum betting exchange.
