This changes once a person arrives, who is in the same position as you and manages to do more than what you could not.
The people have the general vision of that to enter the NBA, you must necessarily be very tall but, is this totally true?
Well, in my opinion, the answer is yes and no, I mean it depends entirely on the player and the team. I will take the greatest example that has stepped on the NBA.

Muggsy Bogues, the living example that size could not matter in basketball because he is considered one of the best players and the smallest, had a career of 14 seasons! Yes 14 years and has a record of more than 6800 points made in his career. The teams in which he participated were Washington Bullets, Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors. Although you may be thinking that he went unnoticed, or that he simply entered the NBA but never excelled, you are totally wrong! He was also part of the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks but never made his debut with such teams. The cause was not its size, but the reason why Muggsy was looking to play in a professional team was for his mother, there was no more beautiful feeling to be proud of his mother and unfortunately, she died. Muggsy was simply devastated and was not in the best conditions to perform on the matches.
He was also the former coach of the professional women's basketball league (WNBA). The interesting thing is that Muggsy barely had 1.61 meters high, which could have no impact on other types of sports such as football; we can see the case of Leo Messi, a fairly short player but still stands out worldwide for his skill with the ball; Muggsy was in a clear disadvantage, without sufficient size it would be easy to block his throws and hinders his chances of scoring points.

This great player nicknamed "Muggsy" by fellows high school where he studied, refers to his great agility and ability to steal the balls from his opponents.
Not any professional team would jeopardize the synergy of the team by placing such a small player, Muggsy proved to be a key player in the games he played, his talent to create plays for his taller teammates, by stealing the balls very easily and running with great speed, it was an innovative strategy.
As if from a predestined chance he was treated, in his first season in the NBA, he had Manute Bol as a partner, who was the second highest man in the NBA with 2 meters 31 centimeters. Both had a spectacular synergy, Muggsy's strategy to place excellent passes to Manute, allowed them to score quite easily.

No doubt since Mussgy was in the Institute, located in Baltimore had a phenomenal performance and also shared the field with other future stars as Reggie Williams. He was even selected for a world competition in 1986, in Spain where he won the gold medal along with his team!
The fact that Mussgy had the same qualities as a tall person, but also could bring something new to the teams where he went, allowed him to become an NBA legend. It is too clear that we always have to try to improve ourselves every day and try to outdo others.

The best advantage I think you can have over others and is something you're born with, is love when doing an activity, a job or a sport. My entrepreneurial teacher told me that if you really love what you do, you will be irremediably doomed to success. It is also scientifically proven, that you will have much better performance, endurance and less stress doing the things that you are passionate about.
In my case, currently and within the platform, I love writing and trying to help others, also I always try to have my personality marked although sometimes I get to say things that I should not xD
In addition I measure 1.92 m, as I told you before, I am from Ecuador and here the average height of people is 1.65 m so every day I see others and I look them very very small (it is an experience a little weird, because I'm too tall for them) My experience with basketball is pretty poor, I've been tied to a horribly boring routine and I'll just get rid of it this year, so I'll soon begin playing many sports!
As a small conclusion we can say that if height is important but it is not everything, things like teamwork and synergy can be a more decisive factor in the performance of a player. Always keep in mind the love you have for what you do, the vocation allows you to be happier.

Yesterday, I voted 12 posts and commentaries from different users that showed a pretty good quality creating posts, this we will do every day in favor of the growth of retention of new users on the platform.
now golden-thunder will also reward comments from today, I understand that sometimes comments can be much more valuable than the posts themselves, so the proportion of posts voted will change.
