As a creator of a community in which I try to support good content, give some free advertising to some users and reward good habits in scorum, I feel terrible watching certain actions that happen within our platform , but not I come to complain. I prefer to spend this writing time to start writing, what I want to call "the good User's Manual" (I do not think "scorumian" sounds so good xD)
The first thing you have to take into account is that scorum has several platforms depending on the language, although you do not speak English perfectly I think that with a decent grammar you can be part of the English speaking community without any problem (my case), but if you speak Spanish and You start posting content in Spanish within the English-speaking platform, obviously you are totally lost. So the first advice would be to decide on what language you are going to make your publications.
The first impression is what counts.
All the lives of the users of scorum members begin with the registration in the platform, at this moment it is in which a good first step in the platform would be to introduce you to the community through an introduction post, I have seen many introductory posts That leave me quite disappointed. 5 or 4 lines saying the same thing always, I am disappointed by the fact that a presentation should be quite impressive, a person is a whole world to know, so I invite you to make your introductory post detailing as much as possible about you and all your wishes on the platform. Show us a bit of your personality and make us not forget you! We could say that your mission is to conquer the community in your first post!
I do not think it's necessary or necessary to show your face to the public, you have the right to just show us what you want, we all know the dangers of offering personal information to strangers on the internet.
Go out and talk a little.
Once you have your first post, and you are very excited by the reactions that your post is going to have, what you have to do and what I recommend doing is go read the posts that are in the "hot" section and make an interesting and well written comment to the author, your mission here is to draw the attention of other people so that they can enter your profile and see your new content. Although this part is also perfect to get new followers, make new friends who will make your experience in scorum, something more enjoyable.
The good use of your vote.
It seems to me that the key to success in anything is formed by 3 pillars: discipline, cost and passion. Your vote as a user means a lot, really as a content creator, receiving a vote from any person makes me happy, it does not matter if it's 5SP, it gives me to understand that it was worth the time I spent writing.
Now, when you are a new user, the first thing you do is vote the first post that you see that you have a lot of money, and you mention a "good post" because that does not work, at all.
The best way in which everyone can win, both the user and the voter, in addition to the platform is having a discipline and strategy to give your votes.
You should only vote for posts that are really attractive to you or have drawn your attention, at least until you can divide your vote in percentages.
If you are a small user, well curated rewards will serve you, since you can barely vote 4 times a day before moving to the 80% energy zone.
You should try to find good content and be among the first to vote, remember that 25% of what a post gets is divided as a reward for curators. Also, you should completely forget about the famous "vote x vote", you must understand that if you do not do things with constancy, it is difficult for you to get somewhere. Put yourself, your own rules!
You must make yourself better every day, or at least try.
Be authentic.
Show your personality in your posts, be someone interesting and that can attract the attention of other people, words will be your tool to achieve it and you must learn to use them. To be authentic also includes not falling into plagiarism, nobody likes to see that one person is copying from another, it is simply ridiculous and deserves to be punished.
Do not be afraid to give your own ideas, there will be people who agree with what you say, there will be other people who will not agree with what you write, but you must learn to listen to good advice and constructive criticism and leave aside the comments that do not give you the courage to grow as a person.
Find your niche
I think this is the part that should be explained least, you have to write about what you are passionate about or entertained! Of course, it must be related to the platform because to write other topics there is steemit.
You should not force yourself to do what you do not want just for money, that is to betray yourself.
Do not think about money.
Yes, I accept that it is beautiful when your publications receive a lot of support and votes, but it is also more painful when you do not reach the rewards you expected. That was my daily life in my beginnings in steemit, so I think it's better that you just write with the intention of showing something and do not expect anything in return. Just do what you do best and be happy doing it, money is just an aggregate.
Set goals.
It is important that before starting any activity you set goals, think about the places you want to be or the followers you want to have in a certain period of time, the scorum you want to accumulate, the contacts, etc.
Once that is stated, write in a document, all your ideas to reach those goals, detail as much as possible the "How will I do it?"
It would also be good to keep track of your progress, there will come a point where you look back and realize that all your effort was worth it, you will realize that you are reaching your goals and you will feel fulfilled. There is no better feeling than achieving your goals with effort ..
these tips are based entirely on my experience, From now on you will rarely see posts like this from me, but I think it was necessary, because of the large number of new users registered in our blockchain.
