Hello, I’m Miracle, I joined scorum platform a few days ago. After my careful studies and analysis of this platform, I had no doubt in my mind that scorum is the BEST.
About 8 days ago, exactly 2 days after I registered on scorum, the scorum admin team took to their official blog to announce to their esteemed followers, their latest development to take scorum to the next level.
In the latest update, a new feature was added to the main page right after the Hot section. This feature named ‘From my Network’, helps feature posts made by the authors a user follows.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
With the growing number of scorum users, it is expected that the number of posts will be on the increase, thus making posts from a user’s preferred authors not constantly available at the Hot and/or the trending pages, talk less of featuring long enough at the New and Noteworthy page. This indeed is a plus to the admin team.
Another exciting update was the inclusion of auto-follow, which helps increase author’s audience. It is expected that once a user shares his post(s) via social media, anyone who reads and registers on scorum via his post, automatically becomes his/her follower.
However, aside other updates, the admin didn’t stop at that, but went ahead to assure their followers of new and promising features underway.
This might even include dividing the payout to SP and SCR and/or adding a toggle mode to help dim page backgrounds and save our eye a bit. On these, we’re still keeping our fingers crossed.
Moreover, before the last update by the admin team, there was a kind gesture by the admin to scorum users.
What was this?
It was the sharing of 419721 SP to about 2200 active scorum users. This is a laudable stride by the admin team. It is usual among platforms like this.
However, there is still need for improvement in areas like:
º Inclusion of toggle mode to dim page background
º Division of payout into SP and SCR
º Reduction of power down duration from 52 weeks.
º Many others
The above areas that need improvement notwithstanding,
Scorum has surpassed a platform like steemit on certain achievements such as:
º Prompt response to the yearnings of scorum users
º Easy navigation while a reading post
º Ease of uploading profile and cover page pictures
º Ease of registration which on steemit is a probability that it’d be successful
º Ease of editing and formatting of post
º Notification
º Prevention of user from upvoting his/her comment(s)
º From my Team page
º Featuring of posts one might like while reading another author’s post.
º Lots more.
Indeed scorum is a platform to reckon with.
