The scorum community still remains the biggest sport blockchain that earn bloggers cryptocurrency while blogging in their area of interest. You will agree with me that since the launch of the platform in 2017, the community is striving hard to be successful with many future prospects, investors and promoters continue to look in this direction. Many people have expressed their optimism how the platform is going to break into the crypto world and we all are really working hard in one way or the other to make that happened. I can authoritatively say from my observation that scorum has over 20 countries represented on the platform. But as more and more people come into the platform lets take a holistic look without totally being bias how new comers are treated in reward as well as among the scorumit; permit me to us that word.
You can agree with me also that the biggest and fastest way to earn SCR on this platform still boils down to curating followed by contest and may be aside buying it. How people decide to spend their upvote is nobody’s business so to speak but curating or upvoting has a general way of affecting the community. They have being few clashes on this and I will take a look at different strategies we have been applying in using our upvotes. The purpose of this post is not meant or targeted at anybody but to look at different scorum curators and l hope not to be a victim here. If you find yourself affected in a way, please do forgive me. No individual practise a particular pattern but combinations of different curation.
#1 The Generous Curators
This set of people, I have come to the conclusion are people whose generosity stem from their normal day to day life in the real world. They upvote any post that attracts their interest once they click to read even if at the end they didn’t get to read what they expected but for the fact that they read it, you have upvote from them accept in situation where a post does meet scorum requirement in terms of content and what have you. You notice their post with a lot of comments and comment upvotes. Here you see high numbers of newbie’s. They always suffer low upvoting power at the end but it doesn’t deter them.
#2 The Disciplined Curators
These are the set of bloggers that hold the vision of scorum at heart and want the community to succeed as much as it could. They spend their upvotes in flagging down post that doesn’t meet scorum requirements as they dim fit by trying to maintain the standard of the platform. You barely see them upvoting posts rather spent much time in reading post, commenting and probably criticize it. For every upvote you get from them, you must deserve it.
#3 The Calculative curators
This set of people believes nothing goes for nothing as much you are not beneficial to them, they don’t look your direction. They spent most of their upvotes on bloggers that they expect to spend upvote on their post too. At the end if they didn’t get return of upvote, they often tend to look for a mutual upvoting partner.
#4 The attention curators
These bloggers tend to often upovote post whenever they want to make a post or after making a post expecting you to try and visit their profile to do the same. Aside this period of post making, you hardly see their upvotoes.
#5 The Silent Curators
These curators are barely popular in the community but most often you see their upvote on your post from nowhere. They care less if they know you or not, if you upvote their post or not. They are just on the background without making noise and one thing about them is that they barely comment on posts.
#6 Cry for encouragement
This is common among the newbie’s whose upvote mounts to nothing and I believe every one of us must have been a victim at one point of the other except those who bought SCR. They upvote any post and spend much of their time making nice comments on blog posts, interacting which indirectly call the attention of the blogger to find out more about them or notice their name.
#7 The Friends curators
Call them circle of friends whose interest lies among themselves. Often than not are discriminatory in reading and upvoting post. Majority of their upvote lies among them. They keep curating each other in circle and encouraging each other.
#8 The Self Curators
This set believes in rewarding themselves more for their hard work by spending larger part of their upvote on their post. You always see their upvoting power blinking at plus 80 all the time and most often their upvotes to any post booms the scr.
#9 The Passion Curators
This set of people just like reading post or sports of their interest and leave a comments regardless of who they are on the community. They are after reading post or sport of their passion like every other sport site and barely have time to click anything aside this.
#10 The random curators
Random curators spend most of their upvote on any post once they are online. Their major aim is to encourage and admiration of good post. After this goes off to recover from their low upvote and show up again.
I will like to hear you opinion on this and if possible the reason why you upvote the way you do.
