Hello everyone! Welcome back to another beautiful and educating post from @Oxygen02. So far so good, history will never forget year 2018 as a begin my journey into the crypto world. I wish i have heard about crypto some years back and only God knows how far i would have go far in building my power.

The Journey Begins

It all started this year in the earlier part of March when i just find myself on a platform on WhatsApp titled Steemit In Ondo. After wondering for some moment, i later realize one of my elementary school friend was responsible for it. Two week after adding me to the group, we later met at the college Admin block and he explained the whole concept of the site to me. He told me there is a site out there that can pay me for every quality content created, then i was told about Steemit. I was so glad to heard about it not for the fact that I will really be rewarded but for the fact that i just want engage myself in writing. It has always been part of me to show and develop my writing skill.

I told him i will sign up which i finally did, then the journey begins. For the first 1 month, I didn't know how to go about the site because my friend whom I thought will put me through just disappear. Thanks to a friend i met at the DSA( Directorate of Students Affairs) building who was using the building WiFi. I heard him talking about Steemit, immediately, something arouse in me to make some inquiry and I walked to him and we discussed at length about the platform and before I knew it, he was helping me and taking me through every corner of the platform. After understanding little concept on how to post my articles, i started racking my brain all night to get some content posted on the platform.

I really find it difficult there after seeing my introductory post making $0.09 SBD, i continue to strive hard to build my reputation and make sure i always come up with good content. Most of my articles there has always be on education due to the fact that I'm an educationist. The first thing that came to my mind after joining the community is to build a vibrant society through my write up hoping that someone is out there watching. So far so good, after building my reputation to 47 after 9 months signing up, my Steem power is still crawling at $10.433 SP which don't even give me any influence on the platform and i was discouraged.

Scorum Journey So Far

It was the guy i met at the DSA stephennevets that God actually use again after he has seen my effort been denied on many occasions. He told me about scorum that it is a platform just like steemit where i can blog on sport related issues and i just feel like checking it out and finally sign up around August but it was a different story unlike steemit where i started blogging immediately. It took me 3 months before i dropped my introductory post. All my mindset was to drop it and disappear but i was so astonished with the kind of people i met here, with the warm welcome.

They make me feel like the community is already waiting for me. Not really up 3 weeks now, my SP is now around $128.57 SP something i never hope for.Though, I was passive after my introductory post but some great men on this platform wake me up from my slumber. I was nominated for scorum patronage which is initiated by Sport-frei to posted for 1 week and while still enjoying the benefit of Scorum patronage, I was also nominated for Helping Hands Initiative proudly initiated by Talesfrmthecrypt. All this has really helped me to settle down on Scorum. This reminds me of one Zig Ziglar saying that;

You can get whatever you want if you are going to help enough people get what they want.

So far so good, within a month of been active on Scorum, i have met a lot of friends which i will not be able to mention names but they really know themselves. They are the reason why i find this place lively and I know they will surely get whatever they aspired for too. I now find it difficult to leave Scorum for Steemit as i always think and talk about Scorum.

I hope you find this post interesting and educating. Until then, I remain my humble self @Oxygen02. Thanks For Reading👍
