I have been trying for days now to write a blog for two contests that are right now underway, one is about your favorite team and the other is about your favorite sport. But I just can't seem to get started with either blog, all that I can think of right now is Scorum and our future here. I was sure that today would be the day, today I would be able to concentrate and write at least one of those blogs that have been on my "to-Do" list for so long. But alas I entered into a couple of discussion/debates about Scorum and what we can expect in the future and again I was off in dreamland trying to visualize the future.

What do you think the current market capitalization for SCR is right now? I thought about this when I was looking over my Steem account today and realized that Steem, SBD and SP (Steem Power) are all different tokens. The market cap for Steem just accounts for the total amount of Steem that is in circulation, it is not counting the SP because it is not in circulation until it becomes Steem again on a power down. There are 265,039,028 STEEM tokens in circulation and as of the time of this writing, STEEM is valued a $1.55 USD and thus has a total market cap of $410,386,430 USD. Comparatively, the market cap for SCR then is the total supply 4,244,940.842 SCR multiplied by the current market value $0.2575 for a total market cap of $1,093,072.

When you look at that number maybe it will give you a better perspective on how little investment money it would take to drive the price of an SCR token up, especially when you realize that most of that SCR is sitting on the sidelines waiting for the betting and advertising platforms and is not for sale. A few weeks ago I estimated that $100,000 of new investment would probably raise the SCR price to as much as $1.50 or maybe, even more, depending on how many people decide to cash out some SCR when they see the price rising.

If you think that the Scorum platform is another Steemit you need to read the white paper again and rethink things. Scorum will soon become a complete self-sustaining economic system with tokens constantly in motion and somewhat immune to large downward moves in the market. That is because there will be a continual demand for SCR tokens, and a lot of Scorum members will be very reluctant to turn loose of their SP because they will be earning a steady income from it. This means that a steady stream of fiat money will be coming in buying up the portion of SCR that people are earning on the blogging platform, from the ads that they post, from the royalties on the photos that they upload, and from their winnings on the gambling platform.

My vision for the future of this platform after all of the main pieces are in place and the circulation process is fired up, goes something like this. SP will be worth more as a form of income and influence than it is worth in cash out value. It will become known as having one of the best returns on investment in the world. SCR will be in high demand and a small amount of it will provide a lot of purchasing power, especially on the platform itself. High stakes gambling events will be measured in whole SCR's while most of the betting on the platform will be performed using fractions of an SCR. More than likely there will be nicknames for these fractions, such as table stakes starting at 0.10 SCR might be a dime game while 0.01 SCR could be known as a penny game etc.

I know, I know, I get told all of the time that I let my imagination run away with me too often and maybe that is true in this case also. I really can't tell you that this is how it is going to be, and if it does turn out just like I'm predicting here I can't tell you how long it might take to become a reality. But I do know this, I can easily look at the amount of SCR that is potentially available to be sold right now and it is a tiny amount in the overall scheme of things! One moneybags could walk in our door and buy every SCR token currently available on the markets in the blink of an eye. Then said moneybags could resell those tokens at the price of his choosing. So don't be surprised when investors start flooding into cryptos looking for working platforms that are solid investments and the price of SCR's skyrockets overnight. The fact is that Scorum has no peers right now. Our would-be competitors are on inferior blockchains that currently can't begin to scale enough to compete with Scorum. On top of that, Scorum has a huge head start and a team that has already proved that it can build a world-class product.

By the way, If Scorum had the same market cap as Steem then each SCR would be worth about $97, who here thinks that Steemit is a better platform than Scorum? I have been on Steemit for over a year and I think that Scorum is already way ahead of Steemit and we are not even fully operational yet! Now you know why I'm so excited about Scorum that I can't even write my blogs. :)

That IMHO, what is yours?
