I know that you probably think that I'm crazy for making the prediction last year that if Scorum survived and eventually reached 400K users then SCR would be $100 or more within the next five years. For those of you that are early adopters and have already reached 1K SP or more let me explain to you why I think that you may already be wealthy, it is one of the reasons that I have been doing my best to help get as many members to that point and beyond as possible.

There are currently 33,312 Scorum accounts, many of these are dormant, but just imagine that each of the current accounts were active and that they had each reached 1K SP and received their slider.

But wait, there is currently only 18,861,083.883 SP and 10,111,892.320 SCR for a total of 28,972,976.203 Scorum Tokens. In other words, there is never going to be more than a few thousand people in the entire world with over 1K SP!

So what must happen when people start joining Scorum and they begin to build their accounts? The price of those tokens is going to rise and they are going to quickly become more and more scarce. In the months and years ahead it is going to become harder and harder to attain the level of 1K SP, and those at that level and above will have a lot of control over the Scorum rewards pool and which writers gain the most success. Believe me, it will be a big deal and every early adopter who has stayed on Scorum and worked hard to earn their slider is going to be rewarded for those efforts. But we still need a lot more users at that level, the more there are the less concentrated the power will be and better overall for Scorum and all of its members.

During the last Bull run the price of Steem tokens rose to about $7.28 with somewhere between 750K and 1 million user accounts. But there are well over over 300 million Steem tokens in circulation, that means that 30,000,000 Steemit accounts could reach over 1K, which is 1,000 times more than is possible on Scorum. If SCR is 100X or 1000X more scarce than Steem (According to how you look at it), then how much higher do you think the price of SCR would rise during a Bull market with the same number of user accounts as Steemit?

You see then that my $100 SCR prediction in 5 years is based on having 100K user accounts in the next 1-2 years and 400K or more user accounts in 5 years. I believe that this is a conservative number considering the growth rate of Steemit during similar circumstances. When we add in the popularity of sports betting and the continued development of the Scorum platform I think that you can begin to see why I'm so optimistic about our future.

In my opinion, one of the big keys to our success will be the drive for memberships. We also need to build a solid foundation of dedicated, fair minded and forward thinking users with over 1K SP that can work together and help develop, and guide the growing user base even as the program developers continue to build onto the Scorum platform.

These are just some of my thoughts and reasons for my optimism, I may share more about why I expect a membership growth explosion sometime soon as well as why I think that we can expect a long list of innovative new features from our development team over the next three years later.
