Scorum surpassed 20,000 users earlier this month. That’s great! But today we’re pushing the pace of Scorum growth and launching 11 new domains. Local sports and local coverage for more languages and regions around the world. Because sport is global and everyone should have their voice heard.

On top of that, these new domains and languages mean that we can greatly expand the opportunities in our translation bounty campaign. We thank all the bounty members who have been waiting patiently to post content in their preferred languages!

From now we are looking forward for translators and active community members who will help us curate the contest quality on the following domains and languages:

A few words about our translator bounty program for these languages.

Bounty rules:

  • Translators will use high-quality posts (only articles of those writers who gave Scorum agree to be translated) from scorum.com and translate them into their own languages;
  • They can post all translations in their personal blogs at their languages domains (with the link to the original article in the end);
  • And then just send bounty LLC @rina_ra a link to their account to check it out.

How to get into bounty?

  • Fill out the form here if you haven’t done this before;
  • Ping @rina_ra in Telegram and tell her into what language you want to translate;
  • She will send all the details where to get posts to translate.

Bounty rewards:

For this work translators will get delegated SP from our team and, of course, rewards from readers upvoting. We delegate SP for 1 week. This will allow our bounty community to quickly distribute both quality content and rewards to the new communities that grow within each language domain.

1-2 translated articles per week = 100 delegated SP

2-3 translated articles per week = 200 delegated SP

4 and more translated articles per week = 300 SP

Moreover, such activity will be rewarded with the official ratings of translators and have a chance to win monthly reward in 50 SCR for #1 Translator of the month.

Future Domain Options — Opinions Wanted

As Scorum continues to grow, we have two topics that have shown the potential to have enough content and user interest to be hosted on their own separate domains. We would like feedback from the writers and audience that are interested in these topics in the comments below.

Would you like to see a Scorum domain dedicated solely to Cyber Sports? We all know this topic is already quite popular and is poised to grow in popularity around the world in the near future. Because it appeals to a (mostly) different audience than mainstream sports, we are considering dedicating a unique domain just to this. What do you think?

The second option we propose today is a domain just for cryptocurrency and blockchain related content. While we have the “Innovations” category here, we envision that being used mostly for sports-related technology projects, products and startups. Given how popular crypto-content has become, we think now is the time to give it a home within the Scorum platform. How do you feel about it?

That’s all for today! We look forward to reading your feedback and seeing more sports fan communities grow in all the new domains of Scorum.
