No one can tell me that they haven't looked at the Scorum rate in the last 2 weeks and wondered what is going on here all of a sudden.

After the announcement that the Scorum Coin can now be traded at the Hotbit Exchange, the cheers dominated. But the development that followed was probably not predicted or expected by most of us.

Apparently, some Hotbit users sold off their bonus coins immediately, which led to a total collapse of the coin price.

The crash lasted for several days and reached a bottom of about 0.06 $, that's about 0.003 ETH.

For me too, this trend is not quite explainable. Even if some users did not plan to hold and wanted to get rid of their Scorum Coins, why do so many people accept such low selling prices? I don't even want to use the word patience here, but how about waiting a few days and get much higher prices?

But people did and think differently and the price crashed into the ground, which of course led to exquisite buying opportunities.

Several Scorum users used the chance and stocked up with Scorum Coins, allegedly there was even someone who could get 100K SCR for himself. Lucky were those who had some financial reserves left and could spend them on some Scorum Power.

Such an occasion probably won't come again and the SCR price has already recovered from its lowest low, but still ranks around some relatively cheap 0.11 $.

Given the potential of the Scorum Platform, we can assume that we won't see these lows again and that the price will continue to rise over time. The full potential is still far from reached, the betting platform is due to start very shortly and as soon as Scorum becomes interesting for advertisers, more and more partners should come on board, which could probably also help to drive the price higher.

In the long run I am therefore super positive concerning the outlook and have therefore also increased my SP account a little bit. On the one hand to do some small investment and also as a chance to finally act as a curator myself.

In this regard two days ago I have already called to suggest and recommend promising new members of our Scorum family to me, one of them I would like to accompany and assist for one week each in a Scorum Patronage.

I would like to repeat this call and explicitly mention that multiple nominations are explicitly wanted.

We should always remember that our own success here is closely linked to the success of this platform and the whole Scorum community. The more other users we support and motivate to join in and contribute, the more attractive Scorum becomes for potential candidates who are still considering and doubt whether they should join.

And the more users come to Scorum and write high-quality articles, the more interesting the platform becomes for outsiders, especially the advertising industry, which is a very important pillar for the future of the Scorum success.

That's why I'm quite optimistic about Scorum's long-term prospects. Of course there is still some work to be done and we should try not to copy the story that happened with Steemit for example and to find our own better way.

So let us not be discouraged by possible setbacks and concentrate on our own potential and the people we meet on the way to the top.
