After a kinda smooth transition into the promising month of March I am feeling it is the right time for introducing another Scorum writer. As usually, I want to talk about the writer who I supported last week through my Scorum Patronage initiative, and whose blog I checked out for a whole seven days to read his articles and to support him with my upvotes.

What is Scorum Patronage?

Scorum Patronage is my commitment to support and motivate new and aspiring writers, and to help same to get some needed attention.

You can read more about it in last week's nomination post:

Who is @herbaycity?

@herbaycity is one of our Scorum writers who already joined last summer and who has been actively writing about basketball and the NBA. Nice to see somebody taking on the writing challenge so seriously.

As just said, all of his articles are about the NBA, and he is trying to post some game and team analyses and to inform us about some recent basketball news. I am not sure which team is his favorite, but he often writes about the more succesful teams of these days.

Reading about the NBA gives me some kind of nostalgic feeling, since I used to watch basketball a lot when I was a teenager. Of course things have changed a lot, different teams and players are dominating the stage now, but I did enjoy seeing some different topics.

It still seems that more than half of the bloggers here on Scorum write about (European) football and there mainly about the Premier League. Therfor I appreciate every article which reaches out to a different audience and touches some other grounds.

And I am glad to see that some of his posts last week have found more readers than usual, however, I am hoping he can extend his readership even more.

My one-week support may have ended, but @herbaycity don't worry. I will still come over and drop by at your profile to see what you have to say.

And everybody else, please have a look at his blog, say Hello to him and check out some of his posts. And I am sure he will be happy about some encouraging comment or upvote as well.

The next nomination round is coming soon:

Even though last round's attendance had hit a record low I am not giving in. The next round is coming for sure and this week I am hoping for more people to join.

I always get some encouraging feedback through comments or private messages, but it would be even better, if everyone just took a minute to nominate another writer. As mentioned before I might change some of the rules of my initiative but for the next couple of weeks I am sticking to the way we are all used to. After returning home later this month I will re-consider a few options and than decide how to continue.

But since all we need is at least ONE genuine nomination, I am still positive we are on the right track. Most people I assisted before should have experienced a little boost and after that week of Scorum Patronage support it is up to them to continue there great job here on Scorum.

And let's not forget that Scorum Patronage is growing. @dexpartacus is also upvoting the "choice of the community", which makes this special opportunity even more motivating and helpful.

So come and join our next round which will start soon and please drop by with a nomination of some writer who you think could need some little help. And while you here check out the other nominations, you might discover some real gem and some great articles which you shouldn't miss out.

I am always open for your comments or suggestion, and you can also talk to me in the Scorum Patronage discord channels I am running on the I am Scorum server.

Catch you all soon!

Love and Respect !
