We are almost at the end of February and it has been a few weeks since the last time I introduces another Scorum writer. All due to several reasons which I feel there is no need to get into any details. I am still thousands of kilometers away from home but hanging at a place which couldn't be any more familiar and welcoming.

I am not finding as much time to spend here on Scorum as I would like, however, today I want to introduce the writer who I assisted last week through my Scorum Patronage initiative and whose blog I checked out for a whole seven days to read his articles and to support him with my upvotes.

What is Scorum Patronage?

Scorum Patronage is my commitment to support and motivate new and aspiring writers, and to help same to get some needed attention.

You can read more about it in last week's nomination post:

Who is @shaungerow?

@shaungerow is another of our Northamerican Scorum members who is based in Canada and he has joined Scorum last year in October. Since a month ago he has been writing on a more permanent basis but he has still to reach pro status yet.

As you can easily see after having a first glance on his profile, he is very much into the Canadian national sports Ice Hockey, all the articles I checked out were revolving around this fast-paced and exciting winter sports.

In some of his articles he is posting (as he said) "random notes" about some Vancouver Canucks games, who seem to be his favorite hockey team.

He also runs the YouTube channel "Shaun's Collectibles", where he shares his passion for hockey trading cards. In several of his posts he links to his channel and explains about the card sets he has just bought.

Ice Hockey hasn't really made it into the Hot section here on Scorum so often, and personally I would recommend Shaun to write some more detailed posts about his fav teams or about the NHL at a whole. Since there are not so many hockey writers here yet, he could easily make himself a name if he tries to pushes himself a bit further.

And @shaungerow, don't worry. I will surely continue to check out what you have to write and say in the future, even this round of Scorum Patronage has ended.

And everybody else, please have a look at his blog, say Hello to him and check out some of his posts. And I am sure he will be happy about some encouraging comment or upvote as well.

The next nomination round is coming soon:

The last few weeks I sometimes didn't manage to stick to my planned schedule and were often running behind a little bit. Especially these weeks, since I am not able to be online as much as before, and I somehow don't find time to write other sport related articles. But hey, no worries...I will surely be back in a couple of days to open the next Scorum Patronage nomination round, and to ask you to suggest me some worthy writers which I should support during the next week.

And as I mentioned in my last post, lately it has not just been me, who is supporting our "choice of the community". Several other Scorum members have left some upvotes or follows, and I was glad to announce that @dexpartacus started following my lead and also upvotes the weekly winner with the same VP as I do.

So being assisted by Scorum Patronage should now be even more encouraging and helpful as it was before. Of course at the end it is all to the chosen writers, whether they take the chance and push themselves to the next (Scorum) level. I am glad to assist and help, but as I always mention, I am here to support quality work which also helps to promote the Scorum platform itself.

So come and join our next round which will start soon and please drop by with a nomination of some writer who you think could need some little help. And while you here check out the other nominations, you might discover some real gem and some great articles which you shouldn't miss out.

I am always open for your comments or suggestion, and you can also talk to me in the Scorum Patronage discord channels I am running on the I am Scorum server.

Catch you all soon!

Love and Respect !
