And the decision is made!

But first a big thank you to the genuine people who stopped by and nominated some other Scorum blogger for the fourth round of Scorum Patronage.

As I did in the last weeks too, I will again assist one of our new Scorum writers for one week and visit their blog daily and upvote one post every day. I will use 100% of my voting power, unless I have the feeling the post might not deserve such a big upvote. So far I didn't need to get back to this option, which I only want to use when I feel some posts don't meet the quality standards we would like to see here at Scorum.

By upvoting some some new writers I want to help them to get started and to get noticed by the Scorum community. We all have experienced how tough blogging can be, I still need to fight to get noticed too. It's essential to stay motivated, so I will visit, read and comment all their posts for the next seven days. And after that week, I'm also going to write an article where I will introduce that certain writer, what hopefully helps to shed some more light on their work

Let's get back to the nominations. Every week I keep asking you the following question:

Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?

This time we had 3 valid nominations for 3 different people. I this case I am choosing the writer with the smallest amount of Scorum Power in their wallet in this was clearly @blanchy who has just joined the last month.

As I could read in his recent introduction post, @blanchy lives in Ireland, and seems pretty much into football, but also into golf and horse racing.

I am looking forward to some interesting mix of articles about the fascinating world of sports.

So far his posts haven't caught so much attention, and I am sure @blanchy would be more than happy if you could stop by too to say hello and let him know who welcome he is to enrich our exciting and fascinating Scorum platform.

A special thank you goes out to @fraste, who left this nomination and as I could see from the comment he left, he was genuinely thinking about helping some rather new and not so fortunate Scorum writer. Even his recent introduction post didn't really catch much attention, but thanks to @fraste and my upvotes, @blanchy will hopefully make into the hot section this week.

As I wrote before, the comment who recommended this weeks choice FIRST, will get a 100% upvote from me, to also reward the people who are stopping by and leaving their nominations. Here you go @fraste!

For this week's round we only had 3 valid nominations, this is so far our lowest number. Unfortunately it seems less people are taking the time to think which other user could need some help here on Scorum.

I really hope the next round will see more people showing up and more interesting names popping up in the comments. Scorum Patronage is now running some channels on the "I am Scorum" Discord server, so please stop by and say "Hi".

You can also find the latest announcements and the profiles of all the former beneficiaries. I hope the Scorum Patronage channel becomes a place were people share ideas about how to help other community members grow and how to make the Scorum platform a huge success.

If you have any suggestions how to improve the Scorum Patronage project, please hook me up and we can talk about it!

Let's not forget, blogging here on Scorum is not only for getting a fat upvote. Interaction and some genuine comment under one of our articles can be some really motivating and stimulating feedback as well.

Because...Isn't the reason for writing to be read?
