Hello Scorum folks!

Let me start another promising week with announcing the winner of this round's Scorum Patronage. The week before we didn't get any nomination, therefor I am glad this time we got two and also a little competition.

Thank you to everyone who is supporting my initiative, I really appreciate your positive feedback and encouragement which definitely motivates you to keep Scorum Patronage alive.

What is Scorum Patronage?

The plan behind Scorum Patronage is to support and upvote writers to help them to get their posts noticed by the Scorum community. We all have experienced how tough blogging can be, therefor it is essential to stay motivated.

That's why I will visit, read and upvote all posts of the "choice of the community" for the next seven days. And after that week, I might even write an article where I will introduce that certain writer, what hopefully helps to shed some more light on their work

Let's get back to the nominations. Every week I keep asking you the following question:

Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?

As said before we had two nominations and after checking through their profile I decided to give both of them a chance. I know that I am bending my own rules a little bit, since I was actually planning to go for the nominee who has the least Scorum Power in their wallet.

But after discovering some case of plagiarism and poor quality, I was also checking out the nominees latest articles to get an idea whether those users are actually worth of being supported by Scorum Patronage. That's why I chose two winners, who both have the chance to earn themselves a 50% vote each day, as long as I will be able to see that their posts meet the quality standards we would like to see here at Scorum. That said I strictly reserve myself the right to vote with less VP as planned.

Congrats to @sport-x and @serch, this week I will visit your profiles and read your articles on a daily basis. As I just mentioned I am ready to vote one article each with 50%, as long as I feel your post deserves my support.

@serch has been nominated by @herbaycityand @sport-x by @dexpartacus, who will both now get a 50% upvote on their nomination comment. Thanks a lot for joining this round and keeping Scorum Patronage rocking.

I will start upvoting from today and also leave some comments telling them that theywill be assisted by Scorum Patronage this coming week. Hopefully both will be able to find some new readers for their posts and feel motivated to provide us with some more quality posts.

Some last words...

Recently I have been wondering what could be the future of the Scorum blogging platform. We are all hoping for many more people to eventually join Scorum but if we are all brutally honest, not everyone who will join will actually be able to create informative sport blogs, many people will just join to write a few lines or a couple of paragraphs echoing the latest sport news they have read or watched and hope to get some piece of the daily reward pool. Fair enough, but what will that mean if those people start flooding in here? How will that effect the quality level here on Scorum, since even now some articles are just plain crap?

Which serious investor will then put their money into some coin with is connected to a blogging platform full of writers who don't give a fuck damn about what they are writing?

So far I still can see some genuine and very talented people here on Scorum, who do a hell of a job to creative some awesome articles. But I had to reject some nominees a couple of reason before and have met quite some lack of understanding, why I don't want to support low quality articles.

And now I am really wondering, what kind of articles will we see here in the future. Will the devoted, serious and honest type of writer be replaced by "writers" who don't know what they are "writing" about and whose English often doesn't make much sense?

Yes I know, recently I am getting taken away easily and I am always lecturing about the same topic. But that is what is on my mind guys!

Anyways, I am ready to reading some interesting sport blogs this week too, and I am here to do my part supporting other writers.

And as always I am open to your comments and suggestions. Just drop me a line or visit me in the Scorum Patronage channels which I am running on the "I am Scorum" Discord server. Stop by and and say "Hi" even if you just want to chat.

You can also find the latest announcements and the profiles of all the former beneficiaries. Feel free to join building a place were people share ideas about how to support other community member's grow and how to make the Scorum platform a huge success.

Catch all you guys soon...

Love and Respect !
