Hello Scorum, what's going on?
It is Sunday again, it really seems the weeks are just passing by without giving us a break to relax and catch our breath. It's already more than three weeks since we came back to our fort and sometimes it feels as we hadn't gone nowhere. Damn, were does all that time goes? So often I do wish I was still that curious teenager, pretending to be smart but oh yeah, I was as stupid young greenhorn. But full of hope and promises, which on the way to what and where I am standing now did turn into lots of funny yet sometimes also sad, but always shaping experiences. Life is what we make it, even though we all start with different preconditions and some of us have to carry a way harder burden than the other. But at the end of the day we all finish at the same place, whatever we have achieved before, we will all be equal. I am not in a hurry to get there at all, I still have to do quite a lot before and I am hoping I will get a few more chances to do some things right. And I hope all of you are getting those chances too. Therefor be wise and think twice in which direction you will turn, it could be another decisive twist on your way to eternity!
Okay...I am not sure where that just came from, but I guess that is just the perfect start for today's announcement post. It is Scorum Patronage time again and I am here to announce our next winner. Actually we got two again, but more in a moment.
Let me fist say thank you to each and everyone who came out to support me and who has joined this round. Without you we wouldn't have gotten so far, I just say: week 40 this year and still rolling!
What is Scorum Patronage?
The idea behind Scorum Patronage is to accompany some different writer every week to help him to fins some exposure and to get out into the Scorum spotlight. Getting noticed can be tough so I am sure a helping hand can always be useful.

Let's get back to the nominations. I always come up with the same, very simple question:
Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?
This week we had three people joining who then left us nominations for two different users. Both nominees got mentioned twice and after checking out our candidates I saw that both have just joined and recently came up with their introduction posts. Both don't have so much Scorum Power in their wallets yet and could clearly need some little push and boost to get started, therefor I decided to have two winners again and to assist both of them in the coming week.

A big thank you shout goes out to @idunique, @giornalista and @dexpartacus for joining the nomination round this week and for coming up with this two users.
I will start upvoting from tomorrow and also leave our winners a message telling them that they will be assisted by Scorum Patronage.
As always I am planning to vote with up to 100% of my voting power, but of course it all depends on quality and quantity. And in case I am sensing any scent of copy and past posts, or stolen content I reserve myself the right to not vote at all. But hey, I am always positive that we are getting some great content this week.
That's why I am looking forward to some great articles and to get to know some different Scorum blogger this week.
Some final words...
I know I have been bending my rules recently and that hadn't happen only once. In case we have more than one nominee, which I actually expected to happen way more often, I was planning to check out their Scorum wallets and go for the candidate who has less Scorum Power. But in almost every week we got beneficiaries who don't post so much, often only once a week or sometimes even not at all. Therefor I often don't get any posts to read and to upvote. To avoid that situation I now often choose two beneficiaries, I am simply hoping to get to read articles on a more permanent basis. My own Scorum Power has become big enough to assist and to support more than one user and since traffic here on Scorum has gotten a little low these days I would like to keep looking out further than my limited horizon and find some new talented writers. I still see it as a nice way to bring the community together, looking out for other users could really help to create stronger bonds between us and improve our chance to survive this harsh crypto winter.
After a few gentle months when most people thought and hoped that the rough and tough days are over, most coins seem to move towards hibernating again with no real positive sign anywhere near. Scorum Coins has dipped too this week and is indicating that it might even move lower into regions we didn't think they could be possible. I hope I will be wrong and things will eventually turn to the good, but without any demand we will never see less stormy waters. And I am also still waiting for another clear message from the Scorum devs, don't leave us alone if you don't want to see this project fail and fall to pieces.
Alright, that is all for today, I am wishing all of you a great rest of the day and a week full of exciting tasks and encouraging challenges. As I wrote before I will have some busy days preparing for the big move back home on the other side of this planet.
