Hello Scorum

Here we are again on another rather beautiful Sunday. The typhoon has past and fortunately we weren't hit as heavy as some were predicting. We got quite a load of rain until this morning but the storm didn't shake as too heavily on this side of the Island. The East coast suffered quite severe flooding and damage but after all most of us can now take a deep breath and move one. However, my condolences are getting out to those poor soles who couldn't escape nature's power and had to paid the highest price we can imagine. Therefor let us take a moment to appreciate the wonder of being alive let us express this gratitude to the people we come across.

And since it is Sunday I would like to announce our next Scorum Patronage beneficiary, another Scorum user which I now will support for a whole week. Thanks to everyone who came out to support my initiative and who joined the nomination round.

What is Scorum Patronage?

The idea behind Scorum Patronage is to accompany some different writer every week to help him to fins some exposure and to get out into the Scorum spotlight. Getting noticed can be tough so I am sure a helping hand can always be useful.

You can find this round's announcement by following this link:

Let's get back to the nominations. I always come up with the same, very simple question:

Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?

This week we only got one nomination but that was enough to keep us going and gave me no headache deciding our winner. After checking out the candidates profile I hereby declare @abdoul-reserved to be this weeks beneficiary. Congrats!!

A big thank you shout goes out to @dexpartacus for the nomination. Grazie my friend for always supporting this initiative and for taking the time for leaving a nomination. I will generously upvote your nomination comment.

I will start upvoting our winner from tomorrow and also leave our winners a message telling them that they will be assisted by Scorum Patronage.

As always I am planning to vote with up to 100% of my voting power, but of course it all depends on quality and quantity. And in case I am sensing any scent of copy and past posts, or stolen content I reserve myself the right to not vote at all. But hey, I am always positive that we are getting some great content this week.

That's why I am looking forward to some great articles and to get to know some different Scorum blogger this week.

Some final words...

Another week has passed and the weekend too is almost over. Way to soon if you ask me, I can't believe how fast the time is flying, just a short time ago I was enjoying myself in the waters of the Japanese sea and now I am preparing socks for when I go to bed. Where did the time go?

I still remember those days when I couldn't wait for Friday to come, finally a long week of work was over and I was able to relax and hang out with my friends. Now I just see the Fridays fading behind me, every day seems just like a number, passing by in an enourmous speed which I am not prepared for. I told myself to find a way to appreciate every moment of every giving day and to find a way to spend my free time more efficiently. Having a family doesn't give me so much spare time though, but I often get those moments when I commute between my jobs when I happen to not be a hurry, so I started taking some detours to explore some different roads and some new places. This week I decided to check out that little waterfall which I found on google maps, which isn't exactly on my way but isn't too much of a huzzle to reach either. Actually it only took a few minutes to get there, taking a very small mountain road and then walking a few hundred meters. It was smoothly located in the middle of the forest, surrounded by tall cedar trees. What a charming and relaxing place, and since I fortunately always have some old walking shoes in my car I was able to get out and take some refreshing walk. Outside of the forest it was quite warm side day but not much sun got through the green and it felt like an eternity away from everything. I am glad I just took the chance to finally explore that place, it was nothing to write a book about or to really mention it in a travel guide, but still the most perfect place to be at that moment. My dirty pants kept telling me this for the rest of the, a very important reminder that life is simply what we try to do out of it!

Alright, that is all for today, I am wishing all of you a great rest of the day and a week full of exciting tasks and encouraging challenges. As I wrote before I will have some busy days preparing for the big move back home on the other side of this planet.

But you can bet that I will be back soon with another nomination round and I am hoping to see you all there.

Feel free to leave me some comments or critics, since I am still planning on improving my initiative. Just hook me up with your thoughts.

Catch all you guys soon...

Love and Respect !
