Happy Sunday Scorum crew!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend, I pretty much assume many of you got already busy hustling through thi slast month of the year. For quite some people did the festivities already start, Nikolaus Day is just past and preparations for the year-end parties are in full stage. Over here in Japan they are called 忘年会 "Bounenkai" (literally: forget the year meeting). Some people tend to get quite drunk and crazy there, acting as if they really wanted to just forget and leave behind what had happend the last months. In Europe those parties with mostly co-workers are simply called "Christmas Parties" where everyone eats and of course also drinks to their hearts contents. Well, to each its own. I rather prepare to not get too wild since health-wise I am always a little struggling in this cold season, therefor taking it easy won't be the worst idea. However I am looking forward to having some quality time with the loved ones, and being able to just wind down and recharge my batteries. There are still some weeks to go but the mood is already set since the Christmas decorations are out everywhere (it is getting more and more over here in this part of world too) and I am reminded and asked to pre-order any food which I would like to consume over the holidays. Fortunately I am mostly able to avoid that kind of rat race and stay sane during this time of joy and madness.

That's why I didn't forget today's schedule, it is Scorum Patronage time again and I am here to announce our next beneficiary, whom I will support this coming week. As always let my first say thank you to everyone who has supported me and who has joined the nominations. Without you guys I wouldn't have come so far.

What is Scorum Patronage?

The idea behind Scorum Patronage is to accompany some different writer every week to help him to fins some exposure and to get out into the Scorum spotlight. Getting noticed can be tough so I am sure a helping hand can always be useful.

You can find this round's announcement by following this link:

Let's get back to the nominations. I always come up with the same, very simple question:

Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?

This week we had one nomination which made it pretty easy to come to a decision. Thanks to jon.bonomo for joining again, I will leave some nice upvote on your comment.

And congrats to our new beneficiary: @springwing46

He or her has joined Scorum in June but hasn't written much yet. I hope I will the comment which I am leaving will reach him or her and encourage our winner to take on the challenge of providing some quality posts here on Scorum.

I will start upvoting our winner from tomorrow and also leave our winners a message telling them that they will be assisted by Scorum Patronage.

As always I am planning to vote with up to 100% of my voting power, but of course it all depends on quality and quantity. And in case I am sensing any scent of copy and past posts, or stolen content I reserve myself the right to not vote at all. But hey, I am always positive that we are getting some great content this week.

That's why I am looking forward to some great articles and to get to know some different Scorum blogger this week.

Some last words...

Oh dear, this Bundesliga matchday has been a pleasure so far. Bayern Munich got wrecked in Mönchengladbach and is now seven points behind the table leader. Even though the champion could score the lead in this intense top game, the host was able to strike back and turn the result to their own favor. Good to see Bayern with their new coach Flick is not invulnerable and might be finally beaten and enthroned in this season.

RB Leizig and Borussia Dortmung where also able to win their home games and defended rank two and three, and most important kept Bayern at a healthy distance, who is now ranking on position seven. Looks pretty good to me if you asked!!

Union Berlin is hosting Köln today, which will be the battle of the two newly relegated teams. Union who at the beginning of the season was considered as the biggest underdog had been performing quite alright recently and already gathered 16 points, in contrary to only 8 points for the Koeln side so far, is now in the better position and I am pretty sure that the fiery supporter at the "Stadion an der Alten Försterei" will burn it down one more time and make this game to another happening. Fingers crossed the result this afternoon will help the Union side to gather some more important points in their fight against the immediate relegation down to Bundesliga 2. So fat things look quite promising, hopefully this will be the same next May!

In the last game today Bremen is hosting the other newbie from Paderborn who are ranking on the last position and really new some wins and points to turn around the wheel. So far they only have 5 points and managed to win only once, definitely not the performance and result they were aiming for at the beginning of the season. It's gonna be a hard time again today in Bremen and I am pretty much seeing the host in the way better position before and after the match!

Alright, that is all for today, I am wishing all of you a great rest of the day and a week full of exciting tasks and encouraging challenges.

Feel free to leave me some comments or critics, since I am still planning on improving my initiative. Just hook me up with your thoughts.

Catch all you guys soon...

Love and Respect !
