Hello Scorum, what's going on?

It is this special time of the year again, at least where I come from and where I am staying right now. Of course it feels a little different to spend Christmas time over her in the Far East, but it still gets quite some of this warm and charming feeling I remember from the times when I was young. There are decorations out in many shops which then try to lure more costumers in by playing those obnoxious Christmas music we both like and detest. Well, deep inside ourselves we were actually looking forward to it, right?!

The weather doesn't make me feel it is the end of the year already, rather as if we were in the middle of autumn, but hey there are just two more weeks left till the big countdown. We definitely won't see white Christmas this year, but I am pretty okay with that. Christmas is more like a couple event here, when mostly young people go out dining with their partners and lovers. But recently more and more children get presents as well, and if you feel like you could get yourself a so-called Christmas (creme-)cake. Sure business is big but it still feels like a very merry time to me.

That's why Scorum Patronage is doing a different approach today.

As usual everyone is welcome to join but you don't just need to nominate some other Scorum writer. You can also nominate yourself as long as you come up with some nice reason why especially you deserve this week-long support.

We all know that things here at Scorum are not totally encouraging right now but I am still holding on and would like to at least give back in form of some upvotes. Somehow I feel next year will see some way better times and we might get rewarded if we stay on board.
