Hello Scorum,

It's the third Advent already and we are going to dip into some well-deserved vacation in just a couple of weeks before we are going to close this year. I have no idea what has happened to the time but I still can't believe we are already in the middle of December. I really wish every day had thirty hours; two more two sleep, two more to work and four more to just relax, enjoy and play. Sounds like a wonderful dream and if there was anything I would ask for for Christmas it would be to have more time. I guess I am already past half time in my life and I do have more and more to look back at. Good time and not so good times, things I would like to have done different and decisions I would like to have never made. But that is life.

As my father always says, we should life at least twice. The first time is just for training and trying out things, and the second is to do it right and make the best out of it. But since we can't change the turning of times we need to embrace the precious moments we have. Maybe the be enjoyable or challenging, but one thing is for sure: They won't come back!

That's my I stopped wishing it was finally Friday. Because if I can't appreciate a Monday or Wednesday I will waste big times of my life and miss so many opportunities. Every day is precious and worth a fortune, even if we can't make it to the top. The journey is its own reward and success or failure, every day makes us wiser. But hey, I know it is not always easy to see the sun behind all those clouds and staying positive can be quite challenging. But if you don't try you will never succeed, that's for sure. And that's one reason why I am still hanging on here at Scorum and why I am back here today.

It is Sunday and I need to announce our next Scorum Patronage beneficiary, whom I will support this coming week. As always let my first say thank you to everyone who has supported me and who has joined the nominations. Without you guys I wouldn't have come so far.

What is Scorum Patronage?

The idea behind Scorum Patronage is to accompany some different writer every week to help him to fins some exposure and to get out into the Scorum spotlight. Getting noticed can be tough so I am sure a helping hand can always be useful.

You can find this round's announcement by following this link:

Let's get back to the nominations. I always come up with the same, very simple question:

Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?

This week we got two awesome nominations and both were for the same writer, quite a cool thing yeah. I will leave some nice upvotes on both nomination comments.

And therefor we have a clear winner, congrats go out to @anis350.

He or her has joined Scorum in November and has taken on the challenge of providing quality posts here on Scorum. I hope I will the comment which I am leaving will reach him or her and encourage our winner to take on the challenge of providing some quality posts here on Scorum.

I will start upvoting our winner from tomorrow and also leave our winners a message telling them that they will be assisted by Scorum Patronage.

As always I am planning to vote with up to 100% of my voting power, but of course it all depends on quality and quantity. And in case I am sensing any scent of copy and past posts, or stolen content I reserve myself the right to not vote at all. But hey, I am always positive that we are getting some great content this week.

That's why I am looking forward to some great articles and to get to know some different Scorum blogger this week.

Some last words...

Back to Bundesliga, we are approaching the winter break and there are just a couple of match days left. The top teams from Munich and Dortmund showed clear ambitions to finish this year on the top of the Bundesliga table, Bayern managed to kick out Werder Bremen of the Allianz Arena, after an impressive game which saw a clear 6:1 results at the end. But Bayern is still 6 points behind the top, where Leipzig has taken place yesterday. Moenchengladbach is still playing today and could increase the difference to the record champions from Munich to 7 points again.

But more important for me was the duel of the both Bundesliga newcomers, Paderborn was hosting Union Berlin and the guest sides was able to steal an away point to take it home with them. So far the Berliners could gather amazing 20 points in their first Bundesliga season ever, and there are still two more games left this year to maybe score a little more. As I was writing before, every game is a present and every goal for Union is a huge fiesta, so yesterday too the Union supporters had some reason to celebrate and cheer their own team. This year must have been like a dream for many Union fans, first the first promotion into the Bundesliga and now their great performance in the top German football league. Whatever will happened from now on will just be the creme on top, even if the Berlin team can't keep up with their recent successes. Most important is to keep the good vibe in Berlin, and for that it is not important in which league the team is playing. The fans will celebrate anyways!

I haven't made it to any other football league recently, and I am also much behind when it comes to reading articles here at Scorum. But I am glad that there are still some writers out who keep this place alive and interesting. 2019 has been not as successful as it seemed at the very beginning and many users have given in during the year. We all know who is to blame, as more we need to appreciate every writer's diligence and effort to provide some quality posts about the thrilling world of sports. Without the hard-working Scorum users this place wouldn't not just be in a state of hibernation, but rather in total devastation. Therefore I can only express my deep respect to everyone who is still with us on this roller coaster-like journey. Please keep buckled up and don' lose faith!

Alright, that is all for today, I am wishing all of you a great rest of the day and a week full of exciting tasks and encouraging challenges.

Feel free to leave me some comments or critics, since I am still planning on improving my initiative. Just hook me up with your thoughts.

Catch all you guys soon...

Love and Respect !
