First of all, big thanks to everybody who stopped by and nominated some other Scorum user for the first round of my Scorum Patronage.
As I explained in my post, for one week I want to assist one of our newer Scorum members and upvote one of his or her articles every day. I'm planning on using 100% of my voting power, unless I feel the article won't deserve that much recognition. I will leave me this option for posts, when I feel the don't meet the quality standards we would like to see here at Scorum.
I hope by doing this I can help some newer writers to get started and to get recognized, something what can be very challenging, as I still can see myself. It's important to stay motivated, therefor I will visit, read and comment on their posts. And when the week is over, I'm also planning on introducing that user in a separate article, to give him or her some extra exposure.
You can find the announcement by following this link:

So let's get back to the nominations. I my article I asked you the following question:
Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?
In total 14 of you guys joined and and we had 10 candidates, one of which was named 4 times. So we have a clear decision, the user which I will accompany for the following week is @fraste.
@fraste seems to reside in Sofia, in Bulgaria and has just joined Scorum in November. I have seen 11 posts on his profile and he started writing on a daily basis.
I will visit his blog on Monday again to upvote his newest post, and also to tell him that he was selected by the Scorum community.
And for this week I'm looking forward to some interesting reads about a range of topics out of the world of sports.
Of course it would be great if you could visit his blog too and let him know that he is very welcome on Scorum and that we appreciate his contributions to this exciting and evolving sports blogging platform.
I am still fairly new here at Scorum but I hope I can make this patronage a habit. Let us not forget that we all grow by supporting and helping others. As more writers and readers we can attract to join us her at Scorum, as more will we all thrive and succeed. Getting started can be tricky troublesome and quite often disillusioning, so some welcoming embracement can go a long way.
It is not only about getting a fat upvote, sometimes some genuine comment on some great blog post can be some really motivating and stimulating feedback as well.
Because...Isn't the reason for writing to be read?
