A little disappointed in the lack of entries but perhaps there were fewer missed sporting opportunities than I thought there would be.

Also this has been a lot harder to judge than I expected it would be, however after some thought I have decided on the following results.

First Place and 1,000 SCR

Whilst it wasn't the most polished of the entries received the shear amount of effort and personal pictures of all of his sporting adventures made it stand above the rest for me. Though we never get any real sense of why he never made the big time in sports, to hear about all of the sporting activities with pictures included made the post an intriguing read.

Second Place and 600 SCR

Whilst we had a clear winner the difference between second and third was really close and whilst @betman never quite come close to his absolute best comedy I think this effort did enough to secure second spot and the 600 SCR.

Third Place and 300 SCR

It was news to me the Usain had it rough on the road to greatness and that our very own Dex might have been the guy with all those medals! We do need to track down a certain Grafton Ifill though, what a story he may have to tell on Scorum.

Consolation Prize 100 SCR

There were two entries that I couldn't really split so the best idea was to give them each 50 SCR and they were by @chessarbiter and @trcoach

Payouts will be made later today or tomorrow and I may look to do another of these nearer the end of the year with a bigger prize pool to hopefully get more entries.

This was so hard to judge that I may ask for a panel of 3 judges for the next one, which will probably be a Christmas special with a larger prize pool if the price of SCR is still around what it is now, so if you fancy being a judge then by all means drop something in the comments, it will of course mean you won't be able to enter the contest but there would be some kind of reward for taking part.
