The Scorum platform has been growing tremendously through the help of the Scorum team as well as regional communities. We have great communities like Scorumnigeria, Scorum-fans, Scorum-Italia, Scorumafrica, Scorumghana and a host of others I'm not familiar with.

Most of these communities are really contributing to the growth of the platform through local adoption as well encouraging good content writers. Looking at the profiles of most of these communities, you will discover that they don't have insufficient SP to reward all the posts of good content writes in their communities but they all have a reason to never relent in their contribution to the growth of the platform

Nearly every community wants to keep the entire scorum updated about their activities and that's why we see curation reports. We can see the curation reports of Scorum-fans, Scorumafrica and Scorumghana frequently

In the early days of Scorumnigeria, we used to make our own curation reports three times a week until we decided to reduce it to only once a week.. This is because we consider it as a form of spamming the platform with incessant curation reports. We believe we have a very strong influence on the Scorum platform and we need not spam the platform with reports just to prove to people that we are Working. In fact, we have not been keeping up with the weekly curation reports because have a lot of loads on our heads. Aside that, most consider curation as garbage and won't even waste their VP on it

Another thing we also used to do after upvoting a post was leave a trace of our curation in the comment section until we decided to stop it some weeks ago. Now, we curate the posts of members without leaving any comment on their posts.

Many of us are familiar with steemit. We see how minnowbooster, minnowsupport, Utopian and bid bots normally spam our posts with curation comments. Of course most people like to have their upvotes but not everyone likes those spam messages they leave.

I'm beginning to see that other communities are now following the trend of reducing spamming. At least I got scorum-fans upvotes twice last week and they didn't leave any curation comment in the comment section which is quite unusual of them. Although, I don't know if they forgot to leave a curation comment but a part of me thinks they're beginning to see it as spamming too.

So, now, let me leave you to the question

What do you think about incessant curation reports and curation comments communities normally leave on people's posts? Do you consider it as spamming?
