Each time I invite my friends or neighbours to Scorum, the first question they ask is how they can convert the Scorum coins to real cash and then spend it. Anyway, I don't blame them. Everybody needs money 😁
The second question they ask is how many posts are ideal to post a day. I know this is a question usually asked by new members and also pondered by some existing members. As for me, I don't think there's a specific answer for that- the number of posts one should make daily is a matter of both individual preference and convenience.
There are quite a few number of people on this platform who post several times a day and end up generating huge bucks on each of their posts while there are also people who make numerous posts yet they barely generate a cent on each of these posts. On the other hand, there are also people who make one post daily and end up generating huge bucks on it while there are others who make only one post yet they it's struggling for upvotes.
Should there be discrepancy?
Well, the difference between a successful and unsuccessful member of scorum is Quality. Regardless of how many posts one makes daily, all that matters is high quality content that will add value to the Scorum platform. They need to be something people will be interested in reading.
Although, this is a decentralized platform and there's absolutely no limit to the number of posts one should make daily but if we must face the truth, everything should be done with moderation. Just because there's no limit, you can't keep dropping post at every 30 minutes interval :7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 etc. That's no longer blog posts but SPAMMING! It shows you're desperate to rip the pool.
As a new member, you could see some people making several posts and making good a day and making good bucks on them but believe me, posting multitude of times a day as a new member is a bad way to start your journey here unless you're assured of upvotes by people you already knew on the platform. Aside that, you could even be stressing your brain and it may affect your health
At the very least, how many posts should we make daily?
In as much as I've been beating around the bush since, let me try to answer this question 😁
My answer is- post at least once per day if you want to survive on the platform. This will keep growing your followers and make your name quickly grow viral. This is important piece of advice especially for new members. But if you're an existing member who has been able to build a good number of followers, you could make up to two or three posts per day. But hey! It's hard to make 3 high quality content a day. It's possible but not easy
As a new member, if you make one post consistently for the next one month, you become accustomed to creating post daily and it won't look stressful. It will become your hobby and you will grow at a fast pace.
Even if you have the capacity to make one than one post daily, just try to post once, promote it well and then keep the remaining one for the next day. Once you decided to be making one post daily as a new member, high quality content will be your priority because you will spend time to write it. Also, make sure you have a specific time for making your post so that your post will be like a TV show to your followers
You just have to keep posting and never get discouraged. Since there's no reputation level on Scorum that will cause marginalisation between new and old members, you're surely going to survive with consistency and good content. You might be earning less than $2 on your post at the moment but note that this will only be happening for a short while before things get better. Also, don't just write a post and zoom off and then you return back, expecting an imaginary $50 on your post. Things don't work like that here. You have to make it a point of duty to engage your readers in the comment section. If possible, try to reply every comment on your post and try to leave a comment on the posts of people.
