Why would a circle of 28 people be optimal, and what is this figure based on?
Since the charge of the voting power allows you to do only 4 upvotes full per day, multiplied by 7 days of the week-it turns out 28.
This model implies that each group member will write 1 article per week and receive 28 group upvotes for it (including their own self-help).
Of course, you can also form minimal circles of four people, if each participant wants to write an article every day. But I have already shared my thoughts that such models lead to incompetent and may lead to abuse, so the principle of "moderation, but better" is still preferable.
Let's calculate an approximate estimate for a circle of 28 people
Suppose that each member of the community buys a starting SP of 50,000, so that everyone in the group is in approximately equal conditions (although, of course, each group can set its own individual threshold for entering the club. This means that there can be 50K, 10K, 5K and any other clubs);
- For example, the gross SP of the 50K community will be: 50,000 x 28 = 1. 4 million. Pool SCR will form on the whole of Scorum about 20 of these communities (most likely even less, given SP, frozen in abandoned accounts, and given a certain percentage of SCR, which will remain in the liquid);
- Each member of the group will be enough to write 1 article a week, giving himself self-help + getting upvotes of 27 friends;
- A total SP of 1.4 million will bring the article a reward of about 200 SCR (with the current state of the pool of author's awards), which at the current price of SCR $0.008 will be about $1.60. However, if the price of SCR is at least 10 cents, 200 SCR will cost $20 already;
- Authors with SP 100,000 or more will be able to join either the 100K club or several 50K communities at once, giving 50% upvotes, but collecting apes from two communities for their publication, and receiving ap from the gross SP of 2 million 800 thousand.
Is it really possible to buy at least one steak in 50,000 SCR in one fell swoop, even now, when the price is below a cent?
The glass of SCR / ETH on the HotBit exchange is extremely low-liquid, and this is unlikely to change. Today, the ask was skimmed with a sale offer, where you can see that very liquid orders are placed from the price of 383 gwei to 600 gwei. The largest volume at these levels is just at the price of 600 gwei - and this is only 11 thousand 675 SCR. To take it, you have to raise the price against yourself by one and a half times. Therefore, not a wasteful purchase is possible only gradually, in small portions of 200-300 coins. And even a couple of impatient investors can raise the rate at times in an instant
Given the low liquidity in both ask and bid, buying or selling any volume that would even turn the language to call "volume" is unrealistic even now, without raising or collapsing the exchange rate against itself. And for sure, in the future, this feature will not only not change, but may also worsen.
Why? Answer: as more investors and authors come to Scorum, SCR will gradually begin to settle on an increasing number of wallets, and their deficit will increase. Therefore, we can assume that exchange orders will also become more liquid unless some optimal price is established, at which the majority will agree to put the bid and ask, considering it profitable.
The more authors with a large SP appear in the Russian domain, the higher the fees for publications will be
As stated in the title, the first landmark is the formation of a circle of 28 people. At the same time, it is important to understand in advance that SCR is a long - term investment, which can either shoot overnight this spring or summer, or stretch the return of funds for years. In any case, the more authors we have with a large SP, the sooner the return on investment will occur for everyone.
