I decided to make this post to caution us since our only functioning exchange where SCR is listed on Hotbit

Those of us who are already familiar with Hotbit should have known by now that it is one of those exchanges out there who would do anything to swindle money from users through dubious means. Not only are they dubious, they have one of the worse customer service that will attend to you when you have any deposit or withdrawal issue

Last week, I deposited 0.00078 BTC (about $7) to Hotbit just to buy a little SCR but I noticed my BTC didn't reflect for more than 24 hours. I mailed their support only for them to tell me I should wave goodbye to my BTC because their minimum deposit has been increased to 0.001 BTC ($8.6)

I asked if my former BTC would reflect if I deposit more BTC to complete the inflated minimum deposit and I was told it can no longer be refunded, which means the BTC has gone in their own pockets

This is daylight robbery and this is another dubious means Hotbit is using to extort ignorant members. Even if, out of ignorance, a user deposits less than the minimum deposit and it doesn't reflect, I believe it's supposed to reflect when you deposit more BTC but this is not the case with Hotbit

Anyone who wants to purchase SCR on Hotbit should be wary of what they should deposit otherwise you might be a victim of these thieves
