Scorum Coin and Bitcoin- A Question

According to Coinmarketcap, Bitcoin surged this weekend to $8,000 after blowing past it's $7,200 resistance level. Bitcoin went parabolic Friday night and has been on a tare ever since.

Scorum Coin (SCR) has a marketcap of $547,000. The total cryptocurrency marketcap is approximately $200 billion. Last week, when Bitcoin was below $7,000 Scorum Coin's marketcap was approximately $670,000.

I am a bit concerned about the price movement in Scorum Coin. Is there any explanation why it is down when the cryprocurrency market has recovered so much? Was there a selling off of the coin to fund projects? Not losing faith, just curious.

One potential explanation is that people are selling Scorum Coin to Buy Bitcoin. This happens when Bitcoin goes parabolic and people sell altcoins to participate in the rally for quick gains. When the Bitcoin rally is over, they jump back in to altcoins. Food for thought...
