As many as 77 Medals have been achieved by Indonesia on August 29 in the 2018 Asian Games title until 09.05 WIB. In the meantime, Indonesia is fourth in the medal acquisition standings. The first position still belongs to China with 212 medals.
The Chinese contingent is still leading the standings of the 2018 Asian Games which took place in Jakarta, Palembang.
Until Tuesday (08/28/2018) at 7:00 p.m., the Bamboo Curtain Country has obtained 199 medals consisting of 97 gold medals, 65 silver medals and 45 bronze bronze.
So far China has not exceeded their achievements at the 2014 Asian Games.When in South Korea 2014, China obtained 151 gold medals.Quoting from the Wikipedia page, 457 medals were added to the 2018 Asian Games.At present 29 countries have won gold medals.The total gold medal won by 29 countries is 320 gold medals.Currently there are 137 gold medals left to be contested.
Meanwhile Indonesia as the host appeared quite surprising.Indonesia is in fourth position after collecting 72 medals consisting of 24 gold medals, 19 silver medals and 29 bronze medals.

Archery
Individual repetition of women: ZHANG Xinyan (CHN) won the first gold medal in China at this event. Dananda CHOIRUNISA (INA) silver medal was the first in Indonesia in an individual archery event. Individual repetition of a man: KIM Woojin (KOR) became the first person who defended his Asian Games title at this event. Only Hiroshi YAMAMOTO (JPN, 1982, 2002) also won it twice. Riau Ega AGATA SALSABILLA (INA) became the first person to win an individual archery medal for Indonesia. The NOC had never won several medals in this sport at the Asian Games. Men's joint team: The Republic of Korea won gold in one of the four archery events which had never been won at the Asian Games. Women's combined team: Republic of Korea managed to defend its gold medal from 2014 .CHOI Bomin (KOR) has now won gold in all women's joint events held at the Asian Games, two in team events (2014, 2018) and one in individual events (2014).
Artistic swimming
Women's duet: twin brothers JIANG Tingting (CHN) and JIANG Wenwen (CHN) collected the record for their sixth gold medal in their third swimming and gold art in a duet, after 2006 and 2010. They match Miya TACHIBANA (JPN) as the only athlete won this event three times. Yukiko INUI (JPN) claimed the seventh medal record in the art of swimming, all silver medals. Twins Alexandra NEMICH (KAZ) and Yekaterina NEMICH (KAZ) became the first athletes from Kazakhstan to win four medals in this sport. All four of their medals are bronze medals.
Athletics
General: China recorded its first gold medal at the women's 800m event. It recorded a second straight victory at the men's 110m hurdle. It collected the sixth gold medal of a possible sixth at the women's pole vault, and the sixth gold in the men's 8800m javelin throw: MANJIT SINGH (IND) won the sixth gold medal in India at this event. The only other athletic event in which India has won at least six gold medals is a male shot (9). Jinson Johnson (IND) gave India the first 1-2 in athletic events in eight years, when he won gold and silver in the women's 10,000m in 2010. JOHNSON and MANJIT SINGH won India 12 and 13 medals at this event, most of all NOC.5,000m women: Kalkidan and BEFKADU (BRN) won Bahrain's third gold medal in this event. Bahrain surpassed China's two gold to become the most successful NOC at 5000m women. Maria MASLOVA (KRZ) took silver, after winning gold in the women's 10,000m. He became the second man from Kyrgyzstan to win two athletic medals, when Tatyana EFIMENKO won two medals in the women's high jump. 4x400m relay mix: Salwa NASER (BRN) became the first double gold medalist in athletics at the 2018 Asian Games. Badminton
Single sons: Jonatan CHRISTIE (INA) gave Indonesia the first gold medal in the men's singles at the Asian Games since Taufik HIDAYAT won in 2006. Indonesia's seventh gold medal at the event matched China's record as an NOC with most gold medals. Women's singles: TAI Tzuying (TPE) won the first gold medal for Chinese Taipei in badminton at the Asian Games. The NOC had previously won one silver medal and five bronze medals in the sport. Hindi V. PUSARLA (IND) claimed India's first silver medal in badminton at the Asian Games. All of the other nine NOC medals (including for Saina NEHWAL in this event) were bronze. Double Son: Indonesia won gold in the men's doubles for the eighth time, one more than the other NOC joints. Indonesia also took silver, the second time the NOC has finished 1 -2 at this event at the single Asian Games, after 1974. No other NOC won gold and silver in this event in one match.
Beach volleyball
Men: Ahmed Tijan JANKO (QAT) and Cherif Younousse SAMBA (QAT) claim Qatar's first Asian Games medal in beach volleyball. Qatar is the sixth NOC to collect medals in sports, after China (17), Japan (7), Indonesia (7), Thailand (3) and Kazakhstan (1). Cycling lines Women's team pursuit: Republic of Korea won its third gold in women's events in cycling track with victory in the women's team chase Men's team chase: China wins the men's team chase for the second successive Asian Games - the first time the NOC has won consecutive gold medals at this event. Women's Keirin: LEE Wai Sze (HKG) won the gold medal fourth, being the first athlete from Hong Kong, China to achieve this achievement. He was also the first woman to win four gold medals on the cycling track.
Dive
The 10-m female synchronous platform: ZHANG Jiaqi (CHN) and ZHANG Minjie (CHN) continued China's perfect series at this event by winning the fifth NOC gold medal on the fifth occasion of the event. ZHANG Minjie won gold on his 14th birthday. He is the third athlete to win a gold medal on his birthday at the 2018 Asian Games, after squash player Nicol Ann DAVID (MAS, 35) and XU Jiayu swimmer (CHN, 23).
