Hello scorumites.

Having noticed the poor presence of scorum on social media, I launched an initiative to promote scorum posts on twitter. Well, this has received much support and I am impressed.

In that introduction post, I mentioned the need for the scorum team having an active official account. I learnt some of the online marketings didn't go as planned. Well, that's bad news.

BUT

The good news is you can actually promote the platform and yield great results without spending a dime. Oh! it's gonna take your time. That's fun. I mentioned interacting with users, jumping on trending news. It only takes a tweet to trend.

Proof

Yesterday witnessed a remarkable comeback from Juventus. Cristiano Ronaldo was in great form. For sure, he's gonna trend. I jumped on that.

You can see my first tweet. 14 comments, 173 retweets, and 491 likes. I also made sure I used the #scorum tag.

You can see the analytics here.

  • Impressions
  • Media views and so on

Look at the hashtag clicks. The profile clicks.

My second tweet got 2 comments, 70 retweets, and 401 likes. I also made sure I included only the #scorum tag.

Look at the analytics. 8 users clicked the #scorum tag and checked my profile.

Seeing the massive interactions with the tweets, I responded to the posts with something of this nature.

Check the analytics. 4 link clicks. 4 users actually clicked the link. This should have been more if I had replied my tweets with the links immediately I made the post. There were some minutes if not a hour difference.

What this simply means is that you don't need to spend bucks on promotion when you can simply devote a personnel to handle your social media accounts. You can wrap your tweets around trending topics and see it reach the audience.

Imagine if those tweets came from the official Scorum accounts. The profile clicks would have exposed the platform to more users and so on.

You want to target sport oriented users only. Relate with sport contents only and watch as we bring the twitter, facebook, Instagram users to scorum.
