Hello Scorumites.

I am here with this exciting proposal that I think the Scorum team should look into.

I have been wanting to write this for a long time. Yesterday lengthy conversation on telegram seems to spur me in writing this article having delayed it for a very long time. Remember in one of my previous posts https://scorum.com/en-us/scorum/@zoneboy/how-to-promote-scorum-without-paying-a-dime-on-twitter-with-proofs I explain ways to promote scorum on twitter. I received responses and it's good to see that people are actively promoting the platform on Twitter, Youtube, and LinkedIn. Kudos to you all.

Now this is for this Scorum team and any interested user to participate.

@Vlad mentioned how the promotion marketing campaign didn't produce the desired result. It's sad to hear that as it means campaign funds and time went down the drain.

That's the bad news.

Now the Good news

The good news is you can start the same marketing campaign and achieve better results without paying a dime. You can reach millions of users without spending a dime.

These categories simply covers everything needed to make an open source project a success.

Now I am concerned about the visibility category. This category is for promotion of open source projects.

You can you see the category guidelines. Before Utopian can reward you for your effort the campaign must reach at least 10,000 unique users and have a click through rate CTR of 1.5% on twitter and 1% on facebook.

How sweet... You know the good part is we can give our own specifications. Example: minimum reach 100,000 click-through rate CTR 2% and so on .

How do we do this?

Simple, we simply write a task request. Remember that was the last category I mentioned.

Task request as the name implies means telling Utopian: I want this, this, and this. I also want it to be done this way and I want to get the feedback by so so so date. Very sweet. Utopian will then say: okay no problem I will let our contributors know about this. So simple.

Let's take a look at the task request guidelines for the visibility category.

Look at this, we can give out those beautiful glossy Betscorum banners to be used for promotion. We can also make a video that influencers will use. We can also choose the target audience, demographics everything. You want to target users interested in cryptos in the United states, we state it there. Very straightforward.

What is stopping Scorum from joining?

There is also the open-source radio show where a Scorum team member can speak about Scorum. The good thing there is there lot of listeners. What is my proposal?

  • Scorum joining the Utopian VIPO club.
  • The team creating a visibility task request to promote the platform.
  • 2000 SCR can be set aside to further incentivise contributors. This we spur them to reach the target quick. You can set 100,000 reach for each participant with around 2% click through rate CTR. Then incentivize them with 250 SCR on successful completion of the campaign. That's around $10.

In total the team is spending 2000 SCR $80 for more than 800,000 reach and about 16,000 clicks and we also joining the VIPO club and have a chance to speak at the open source radio show.
