Scorum Price Potential
Betscourm during its first 6 months has been a major disappointment so far not being able to keep the early momentum it had. Right now the SCR price is sitting around 0.015$. While it's probably still overvalued based on what has been going on. There is a case however to say it is extremely undervalued based on the potential it still has... Betscorum Liquidity & Volume are Still Key I wrote many articles already on Liquidity and volume on the betting exchange ( Betscorum Be The Bookie | Betscorum Volume Report | Betscorum Liquidity Solution) and I believe the lack of liquidity and use of Betscorum one of the main reasons why the SCR price near all-time lows and not looking to go up anytime soon. This was a tweet from Julian Hosp some days ago and I can get behind it. In the case of SCR, the price dropped from 0.022$ to 0.015$ (-32%) and it has been clear that something fundamental has been wrong for quite a while. The way I look at it, everything around this project currently stands and falls around Betscorum as it's the only aspect that really offers a solution to a problem right now when just looking at the facts. There is a lot of money in betting and the amounts that are being bet on single matches can really add up. To take the extreme example, the volume of legal bets taken on the Superbowl Since 2000 in Nevada Alone... That's 158 Million In Nevada on Legal Bets alone! Betscorum allows for anyone to potentially have the best odds on the market and should easily be able to take over some of this volume on the betting market. There is only ~29 Million SCR of which 16.7 Million is Locked up leaving 12.4 Million on the open market to bet with. This is only 186k worth at current market price which would probably not be nearly enough if betscorum had as little as 100-200 users on a daily basis. 1 SCR could easily go back to 1$ if some action was taken to bring more activity to the exchange making it easy for the ones who want to stake their tokens to act as a bookmaker providing liquidity which would attract more bettors who just want to click and bet in a more consistent way. More Sports would also be a huge deal once this is in place. Betscorum Started Too Advanced At the start when Betscorum was released everything was very exciting. We even had a couple of whales placing decent sized bets but lack in any kind of consistency killed things off quickly. In a way, Betscorum was probably way too advanced when it came out offering many soccer leagues and have Live betting included already. This made it look empty from the start. Having a similar approach the Wagerr starting off with a few events only making sure there are always good odds available for people to take instantly and expanding from there on out would probably have worked out better. (on the last day of their betting platform test they had 450k WGR staked (45k $) only offering 11 events and that as a crypto project with 6% commission! Since the start of Betscorum it has very much felt like the devs never really cared for it or wanted to see it grow in any shape or form. It's like they had a beautiful baby and just threw it away in the sewer making sure to chase away anyone who wants to help and just left it to die without caring the slightest bit. From what it looks like, the devs are still mostly focussed on the blogging & writing aspect of the platform. I did notice that they activated @betty again offering some odds on the MLS matches which is a step in the good direction. I really hope the start of the 2019-2020 Season will see some more effort from them to get the exchange going working with the community instead of against it.
