Help Scorum Succeed : Buy a Blogger Not a Platform
Make Scorum Great Again! Yesterday in the Lucksack/BROchat we were discussing the idea that was thrown around by @mauryis to "buy Scorum", which is fun to think about, but ultimately is probably a bit unrealistic. However, there is something the Scorum Community could very easily do, and perhaps even a few individuals could do. But I recommend the Scorum Team themselves do it. And that is to buy professional Sports Bloggers. It wouldn't take much investment to accomplish, and it would help the platform tremendously by driving traffic to the site, increasing the level of quality on posts found on Scorum.com and hopefully encouraging others to up their game (AKA : stop shitposting!).How To Do It Personally, I would start searching for professional sports bloggers who have a large following in small countries and work my way up from there. The reasoning being, it's likely to cost less initially and you can test the results before investing larger sums in larger markets. Once you've located a capable sports blogger with a large following, come to terms with them on an amount per post or a flat fee to post a certain amount of times over an extended period of time, which I feel is the best method. The sports blogger would post the content on Scorum.com, and reference that original piece of work from the site they normally post from where they have a large following, thereby driving that traffic they receive on that site to Scorum, as well as an SEO boost. With the Scorum Community's support, the sports blogger would receive rewards from the original deal plus the SCR upvotes from the Community here to make the post more prominent on this site, as well and bring the sports blogger more visitors to their main site who may wish to read more of their content there. It's a win/win situation!Proven To Work Once this method has been successfully implemented with a low costs sports blogger, move up to a more seasoned professional with an even larger following and make the same offer. The blogger will be able to see that this is something that has worked in the past for another sports blogger, from the support the Community provided to them and the increased visibility they received on their main site from the Community, not to mention the SEO boost. From this point on, you just rinse & repeat the method until the site's front page is dominated with high quality content versus the low quality post2mine content we see now on a daily basis, that few outside this platform will ever want to read and is likely detrimental to the growth of Scorum. And let's be honest, the only reason anyone here is reading these shitposts is in hopes that same person will also read and upvote their shitposts. #circle-jerkersSports Betting Once the platforms blogging content has been stepped up and the low quality post2mine articles have been pushed off the front page, then it's time to branch out to Sports Betting bloggers who have a large following and repeat the cycle over again. This would require a prerequisite of making sure the betting app is actually functioning properly and people are using it and/or that a bot is setup (looking at you Betty) to facilitate these needs. If executed properly, this is a low cost method of boosting not only the quality of content found on Scorum, which is in dire need, but will drive traffic to the site for the high quality content that readers cannot find elsewhere (or normally found on the bloggers main site).Examples of Success The most glaring example of this method working recently is DLive bringing PewDiePie onboard. Yes, it's PewDiePie and Scorum can't afford a PewDiePie, but start small and work your way up! It's the method that we're after, and you don't need a personality like PewDiePie to accomplish this, you simply need a sports/betting blogger with a proven track record of high quality content and a large enough following to make the small investment worthwhile. If this is successful it should also increase the price of SCR on exchanges, and in doing so increase the trade volume, which is what is needed to get the token on larger exchanges. Generally the only reason tokens are delisted from exchanges is due to a lack of volume, and SCR has very little volume to speak of outside wash trades made by market makers on semi-shady exchanges and Pump & Dumpers looking for some spare change. Let's correct that! You Can Do This Too This method of marketing does not require the Scorum Team, but it would be nice if they could show some initiative towards helping the site grow, outside asking the userbase to post links to low quality articles found here to other sites. I honestly don't see that helping things at all at this point, and it actually may be hurting. If you know a sports blogger in your area that is popular and has a large enough following on their main site to make a difference, talk with them, make them an offer, start small and work your way up. You may be surprised by the quality of blogger you can hire for a very small amount of money. A personal example I can give on this working is the time I hired a prominent Voluntarist blogger to write an article for me about a token they actually knew nothing about. I simply supplied them with some details and they did the rest. How much did this cost me? $20 in Bitcoin, and it was a tremendous boost for the token and it's community. This person was not a professional blogger, but a very good writer with a large following and the content they produced was high quality. That's all it takes! Bring eyes to the platform to read high quality content and the rest will take care of itself, but it must be maintained once it's started. Best of all, this is something each one of us can do with a little effort in finding the right person at the right time for the right amount. It's a realistic goal, so why not give it a shot?! If you think this is a good idea, please support @bro-delegate with a Witness vote! BRO Sports & Gaming brings you the Scorum Poker League with Freerolls that pay winners in SCR as well as tools that make Scorum better!
