Mark's Pride
They murmuring on the field didn't get to Mark, he became as adamant as a rock, what else do you expect from a man who is so full of himself, on the pitch and at home, his reputation has put the club in bad names on the front lines of newspapers. Still, Mark wouldn't change. They hummed, chant, curse, put up a racist banner to get Mark's attention and the whole world in other to send him off the pitch, but no, Mark played on as if nothing happened. Drawing on his "I don't give a damn" attitude, he played on.
![images - 2021-01-15T082629.843.jpeg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmRQZ1gPE2QzbcBBXLK2qnzU76vxc6UwTZmBaaH6jG17h4/images%20-%202021-01-15T082629.843.jpeg) [Source](https://pixabay.com/photos/sadness-defeat-loss-football-sport-2667464/)
Despite all this, Mark mode of play knew no boundaries as he delve into the opponent net and landed a goal, the whole crowd should have gone haywire by now but they stood still by not applauding the goal, his own club fans for that matter. I guess it was already getting to him that he has reached the end of his pride while destruction cometh next. Mark teammates applaud him, cheer him up but the young man was already pissed off on the inside. The ball was passed and Mark took the ball in no time because of his forward position, in what looked like a confusion cum 'what is happening here' scenario, he made way to his own club net and landed a goal. The opponent club fans went on a jubilating spree, jubilating one of the biggest football shame caught on Tv in recent time. He didn't waste time, he walks off the field, first by pulling his jersey off him. The end of a promising carrier.

At least two prizes of 50 SCR will be given and I will try to give a 100% upvote to every valid entry that took the time to participate.Make sure to drop the link to your post and make a comment on the topic below. Below you'll find my freewrite on this topic. My greatest day as a sports fan has yet to happen, but I’m holding out hope that it will happen before the day I die. The greatest day in my life, as far as being a fan of sports is concerned, will be if/when the Detroit Lions with the Super Bowl. You can laugh all you want, but anything is possible in the world of sports. However, with over 50 Super Bowls already in the books, the Lions haven’t won a single one of them. In fact, they haven’t even played in a single Super Bowl. They haven’t even won a playoff game since the early 1990’s. I’m a lifelong Detroit Lions fan and former season ticket holder. I suffered through many horrendous seasons, including purchasing season tickets for the worst season in NFL history. In 2008, I had three season tickets just three rows away from the field for the Detroit Lions. The Lions exited the preseason 4-0 and looked to have a decent season in front of them. That wasn’t the case as the Lions proceeded to go 0-16, becoming the first team in NFL history to lose all 16 games. My tough times as a Lions fan will just make the day they win it all that much sweeter! I just hope I have the money and time to be there in person like the good old days I spent in Ford Field in Detroit watching my Motor City Kitties (odd nickname for the Lions) take on the competition. Since the topic was originally focused on things that you and I have already experienced, I should probably touch on that before my freewrite is over. It’s really hard to pick just one. I’ve experienced some great games in my life and really cool moments. The greatest game was the 2006 AFC Championship where Peyton Manning and the Colts came back from down 17 points to beat Tom Brady and the Patriots. For my favorite moments, one would definitely be catching a ball during batting practice of a MLB Playoff game (Detroit Tigers vs. New York Yankees). The Tigers went on to win the game and I still own the ball! A lot of great moments for me have happened outside of the stadium or ballpark. I have great memories watching games from home with my brother or with my father-in-law who is a gigantic Lions fan as well. I’m now trying to involve my boys in watching sports with me, but they are much more interested in kids shows than sports. Well, that’s it for this freewrite. What is your favorite moment as a sports fan? I’d love to read your freewrite on it.Note: Make sure to use the "sportsfreewrite" tag so I can find your post! Now it's your turn! Feel free to share a link to your freewrite in the comment section below! You have a week from the time this post was published (9/28 at 12:00 PM Central).
