Seriously, what i'm going to explain here is a simple fact of what i experimented maybe 3 times. you will not going today on the trending section but it can help you to understand how to be. you probably already tasted this section when your post reach the bar of the $50 maybe.

A) I will start by my conclusion, get engagement on your post. Ok but how?

Select a punch title.
Select a beautiful first image to attract the eyes.
Write a interesting content.

I am not going here to explain how to write a content, i am not a expert and you probably want to do like you want.

Your post does't appear on "HOT" section.

Phase 1: When you publish your post, you notice that your post doesn't appear on the main page of the scorum blogging platform, nothing on "HOT" and nothing on "Trending". You probably notice that when you selfvote your post, now it's appear on the "HOT" section. So the tips here is that you have get a vote on your article to get on "HOT" topic, (i'm not sure but i readed somewhere that you have 30min to do this selfvote) i'm for this method, certain people don't like selfvote but i think it will be difficult in the actual and in the near future of the "content competition" to shine on top without i little punch.

recapitulating: one vote propel your post on "HOT" section but you never stay longtime in this section because all posts are coming back.

To me, it's mean what the people like and are talking about. remember the A), Get engagement on your post. i suggest you to respond to all your commenters, more comment you will get, more engagement you will get and more time you will stay on the this trending section who i call the "Scthrone" in reference of Game of Throne. lol

I believe on the velocity too, i mean a content who get vote and comment faster than others.

My thought, it's a Smart mix of all these conditions. If you really want to know how to, we must know how the algorithm work's but we doesn't have access to this AI and maybe we don't need it. The robot is a smart one who simply look witch one is on trending right now. that's it. he don't fail because all content on this section are actual really "trending".
