After winning the women's title at Roland Garros a few weeks ago, 23-years old Australian Ashleigh Barty claimed Birmingham title (Premier tournament), therefore she became the WTA's new Queen. What better way to boost her confidence just days ahead of Wimbledon.

The question that must raised is: how long will she stay as World no. 1?

Competition has been so unpredictable these past years with the succession of women reaching the top spot and the emergence of young talents such as Vondroušová.

Since Williams no. 1 streak ended, 7 players preceded her in 2 years (Kerber, Plíšková, Muguruza, Halep, Wozniacki, Osaka and now Barty). WTA is still desperately seeking for its next big star who will be a dominant figure like was Serena Williams.

Maybe we are living in a time without a legend. Someone who would be remembered for generations and inspire many girls?!
