Caroline Wozniacki and Angelique Kerber will meet today in the semi-finals of the WTA Tournament in Eastbourne, United Kingdom.

The two players have met 13 times, and Kerber was the one to win the most, 8 in number. However, the last direct duel was won by Woznizcki this season in Doha, with the score of 7-6, 1-6, 6-3.

Angelique Kerber (11 WTA)

The German player did not have very strong evolutions in the current season, the most impressive victory being achieved in the quarter-finals at Eastbourne, where she passed in three sets of Russian Daria Kasatkina (14 WTA) 6-1, 6-7, 7-6. In order to enter this stage, Angelique passed by Dominika Cibulkova (32 WTA - 6-3, 6-3) and Danielle Rose Collins (43 WTA - 6-1, 6-1).

Caroline Wozniacki (2 WTA)

The 2017 finalist of the Eastbourne tournament has all the chances to reach at least the final stage of this season. On the way to this semifinal, Caroline defeated two of the best players on this season, Johanna Konta (22 WTA - 4-6, 6-1, 6-4) and Ashleigh Barty (17 WTA - 6-4, 6-3).

Although playing on the grass, Eastbourne's surface is rather slow, which is why Wozniacki has managed to defeat players such as Johanna Konta and Ashleigh Barty. Angelique played a good tennis at this tournament, but in the previous round, she stayed on the field for two hours and 10 minutes, in a very physical duel with Daria Kasatkina. Tiredness can tell the word for Kerber, and Wozniacki will advance to his second consecutive final on the grass at Eastbourne.
