Serena Williams was seen wearing a black catsuit in her return to Grand Slam Tennis at the French Open earlier this year which has led to imposition of certain dress code be introduced to the game.

The organisation is very serious about introducing a dress code for players playing on field and FFT(Fédération Française de Tennis) will keep a close eye on coming collections to choose from. 

“I believe we have sometimes gone too far. Serena’s outfit this year, for example, would no longer be accepted,” French Tennis Federation president Bernard Giudicelli said in an interview with Tennis Magazine.

The French Open earlier this year was Serena William's return after childbirth. According to the star the dress was a tribute to all the mother's who go through tough pregnancy like situation. “All the moms out there that had a tough pregnancy and have to come back and try to be fierce, in the middle of everything. That’s what this represents. You can’t beat a catsuit, right?”
