As many of you may know if you are active on social media and/or follow sports, there was a lot of press regarding the meltdown that Serena Williams had at the United States Open.

It started early on in the second set when she was given a warning for coaching. Needless to say, Serena was not happy with it and made sure the umpire, Carlos Ramos, knew it. Then some sets later Serena lost her serve and broke her racket intentionally- which is an automatic violation. And when considering this and the violation together, it resulted in an automatic loss of one point. This is then when Serena lost control and began calling Ramos a thief.

Now I don't want to go into too much details...but I definitely want to share my opinion on the whole thing and hear what you have to say. First off, I would agree that all coaches coach during matches but the fact is that Serena handled it incorrectly. She should have accepted it, move on, and simply just had a tougher mentality. I mean don't get me wrong...Serena is undoubtedly one of the all time great tennis players. But I think she was just being outplayed and could not handle it emotionally.
