Madrid:- Spain's Rafael Nadal retained his top position in the World Singles Rankings of the Men's Tennis Tennis Association (ATP), released with fresh 8760 points. Switzerland's Roger Federer is second and Novak Djokovic of Serbia is in third position.

Yoshihito Nishioka of Japan has jumped 76 places in the ranking and now he has moved to 95th place. Their advantage came from the victory over Pierre Hugh of France on Sunday in the Shenzhen Open.

Halep also retains number one

Simona Halep of Romania retains her top position in the women's tennis association (WTA) rankings. Denmark's Caroline Wojniyaki is second in the latest rankings released on Monday. Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic and Alina Switolina of Ukraine reached the fourth and fifth places respectively with the advantage of one place. Japan's Naomi Osaka has reached the sixth position with the advantage of two places. Carolyn Garcia of France has reached the eighth position with four losses.
