If you love all sports in general like I do this was one for the books.  The desire to win or their competitive spirit residing in both these athletes exuberated off the tennis court.  Their was even a point where reigning champion Serena Williams falsely accused the umpire of cheating or being biased toward her.  Overall, let's just say the match was filled with more emotion than what we have seen in recent memory.

Below are some highlights from this afternoon.  I suggest you that you do not skip over any clips.  They are really quite fascinating to watch.

This short clip is Osaka's message To Williams two days ago before their meeting for the finals.  Here's a hint . . . she says "I love you!"

There is a rule in tennis that during a game you cannot receive any advice from your coach.  The umpire during the match viewed Serena's coach doing just that and issued a warning to Serena.  Here is what transpired afterwards . . .

What is interesting (after you viewed the clip above) is that Serena's coach actually admitted afterwards that he did in fact "coach" Serena during the match.  Obviously Serena's frustration was getting the best of her.  After all, she has won the "U.S. Open" 23 times.

This is the clip of the alleged "coaching" . . .

A little while later Serena is penalized for further degrading the umpire and she has words for the organizer as seen in this clip . . .

This next clip shows the final match point that seals the win for Osaka and the fate of Williams . . .

Finally, I have saved the best for last.  Why?  Because it happened at the end.

Obviously Serena Williams has a lot of fans.  These fans were fully aware of her displeasure with the umpire during the match.  So during the award ceremony for Naomi Osaka (the pride of Japan) the enormous crowd started booing at her and she started to cry.  Naturally Serena started to comfort Osaka because she has always been a good winner and a good loser.

This is why I love sports . . . we all just love the people that love the same things we do.
