Unexpected stop for Davide Gardini on the eve of what could have been his first call for an official national match.

Tomorrow Coach Blengini will announce the list of the 25 players that can be called for the Volleyball Nations League, but the spiker son of art will not be there: the player, Fipav communicates, "is not currently available for the activity with the national team".

The unavailability of Gardini would be linked to problems that emerged during the medical-sports visit that took place at the CONI Sports Medicine Institute.

As a result of the visit, additional "clinical-diagnostic tests aimed at releasing competitive sports" have become necessary, as stated in the federal statement.

At the moment no further details on the nature of the physical problem that caused the stop have been disclosed.
