Hello everyone it's been a while since posted here, busy schedule really caught up with me this past few weeks but I believe in no time soon I will once again be fully active.
If you are a fan of wrestling you will agree with me that the young man in the title of this post has really gone through a lot in wwe. Though his success in wwe was never a mirage or maybe due to luck rather it was due to his principles, perceptions and ideologies about life that has taken him this far.
After the shield scattered, Romans reigns carrier was really propelled to its peak, most people believed that the dissolution of the shield was for the best interest of the three members - Roman, ambrose and Rollins. Well if you critically check the whole scenario, I think it is actually the truth because Seth Rollins whom everyone thought was the weakling in the shield proved to be the real architect of the shield.
His resiliency in matches were just amazing. Despite the fact that he was the one that Orchestrated the fall of the shield when he conived with the authority to bring down the shield, yet he has proven to be a man by accepting his mistakes, tried to apologize to his partners and guess what it nearly his a success but later failed. Though the union did not last before dean ambrose was out of action due to injury
You know as they say, trust is like a paper, once mutilated, it can never straighten. Dean ambrose never wanted to be fooled again into believing Seth Rollins, this made him adamant to accepting Seth Rollins apology. Well, yeah, you won't blame him, no one wishes to be deceived twice.
Roman reigns has done all there is to do in wwe, he is a former wwe champion, a former USA champion, a former intercontinental champion. Name it, he has done it all! Despite the odds against him during his feud with the so called 'authority' in the person of Tripple H and Stephenie Mcmahon the current commissioner of Monday night raw, Roman reigns still came out victorious.
The height of it all was when he beat the phenomenon -the undertaker at wrestlemania, a match where everyone thought will be the end of the undertaker. Roman reigns after beating the Undertaker was in no doubt tagged the most polarizing figure in sports entertainment, yeah actually he is and he really deserves some credits for accomplishing a whole lot in a short period of time.
Now he has done it, beating the top superstars like Triple H, Randy Orton, John Cena, Aj -Styles, Braun Strowman, Bray wyatt, Undertaker, Bobby Lashley .....name it. But he hits a rock when he came face to face with Brock Lesnar, a UFC former champion and also a wwe wrestler.
Brock Lesnar was the only person actually standing in the way of Roman Reigns after three attempt, he could not get the job done. Though most of the matches ended in controversies especially that of the Saudi Arabia where both men fought inside a steel cage. On spearing Brock Lesnar through the cage, his leg touched the floor first but due to some reasons I really up till now don't get, Brock was declared the winner.
Ever since then, a rematch was the best to solve the whole problem. Here comes the return of Bobby Lashley, another strong and resilient fighter who claimed that he had all it takes to get the job done by beating Brock Lesnar. Two men with bragging right. Issue on ground and how is this solved -in the ring. Roman reigns beat Bobby Lashley and earned the right to face Brock Lesnar at summerslam for the universal championship.
Now is another opportunity to show to the world that hr can do it. Oh yes, he did and he beat Brock Lesnar squarely. The match started with Braun Strawman who is the current money in the bank holder walking down to the ring and making his intentions very obvious to the two competitors.
He stated clearly that he refused to be a coward and thus will stand and watch both of the fight and at the end, it doesn’t matter who wins the match, he is gonna catch in his contract.
A little bit distracted by this statement made by brawn, Roman attacked Brock with three superman punch, this made Brock Lesnar stunned. Adding salt to the injury, three vicious Spears really took Brock Lesnar to his limit. Obviously Brock can never go down down without a fight, he hit Roman with three German suplex, attempting an F-5, Roman countered.
At the end, a vicious Spears from Roman scored him a victory. Yes, your new WWE universal champion is the big dog, Roman Reigns.
He has once again done it, the big question now is, who can man up and challenge Roman for the title?
