Last month was the 2nd edition of my SCR Price Prediction Contest. It's time to take a look at who made the best prediction and look ahead on how things might evolve during the month of August...

CURRENT SCR PRICE

The Scorum Prices currently sits at 0.01175$ and pretty much stayed exactly the same compared to the price at the time of the last contest (0.0118$). As always, the price reflects the belief people have in the platform along with the actions and vision of the development team. As a reference, Bitcoin at the time was at around 11177$ and is currently at 11868$.

CONTEST ENTRIES & WINNER

As stated in the Contest Rules, the price in my monthly Sports Betting Blockchain Projects Listings counts toward the contest SCR closing price. This was 0.013525$

@mr-sarriball made the closest prediction being off only 3.5% compared to the price. 100 SCR has been sent, Congrats!

This was the 2nd contest and I plan on keeping a leaderboard to see who is the best at predicting the SCR price on average over time. This will be made next month...

MY PREDICTION

My view on Scorum has been rather bearish for a long time now, but I do believe/hope we reached the blowout bottom around 0.005$-0.007$ last month. The updates have been somewhat encouraging with the Search engine optimization along with the @promo.scr account which helps to get more social media exposure. The post and wallet fake dollar indications are finally gone, new leagues have been added to betscorum along with the fact that the devs initiated @betty again and seem to start to understand the vital importance of volume and Liquidity for the SCR Price.

There are still a lot of things that need to be done though. It would be great to have NFL available on betscorum by the time that starts again and more tools for users to easily use the exchange to act as a bookmaker. After all that went on the past half year, it's hard to bet on this so I will remain mildly optimistic in my price prediction. The EPL along with all the other soccer Leagues are starting again which might bring a couple more people onto the platform buying SCR and I guess the ones that wanted to sell mostly have done so already. There is no sign yet on the crypto market of new money coming in and I guess that won't happen until BTC reaches new all-time highs.

My SCR Price prediction for early September: 0.0157$
(This would be a +33% increase compared to the price right now)
