Good day Scorum community, hope you all are exploring the world of sports. Today I will be giving highlights of some the game that went down in the Italian serial A last weekend. Many interesting game was played over the weekend and as a football lover I will be glad to give you the highlights in case you missed it.
CHIEVO VS FIORENTINA
The game between Chievo and Fiorentina was an interesting one and it took place at home of the Chievo. First goal was scored by the visiting team as Muriel opened the scoreline in 4th minute through Hancko crossing. Chievo missed chance to equalize and was punished more when Benessi made it two goals for the visitor after receiving fine pass from Someone. Chievo was forced to substitute Tomovic who got injured in the first half with Cesar replacing him. Chievo pulled one goal back at the end of first half to reduce the deficit with Stepinski doing the job. More goals was witnessed in the second half as Benassi was sent off in the second half and penalty award to Chievo and converted by Pellesier. Despite one man down for Fiorentina, went on to add two more goals thanks to Chiesa for scoring both goals. Pellesier missed penalty but Chievo later scored in late minute to make scoreline three goals to four in favour of the visitors and that was a hard fought victory for ten men fiorentina.
ATLANTA VS ROMA
This was another interesting game in the Italian Serial A as there were harvest of goals in the game.the visitors which is Roma showcase there strength in the first half when they opened the scoreline through Dzeko in the 3rd minute of the first half. Dzeko made it two goals in the 33rd minute and El shaarawy completed it three goals to nil in the first half. With the scoreline it seems like the visitor thought they have won already and relaxed in the second half and was surprised by a fierce comeback from the home team. Atalanta scored three goals in the second with Zappata scoring the last goal to make 3:3. What a comeback from three goals down and Roma defence have to take much of the blame. It was indeed harvest of goals for both teams.
LAZIO VS JUVENTUS
Juventus maintained there unbeaten record when they came back from one goal down to win Lazio two goals to one away to Lazio. The game was fiercely battle but Lazio missed many chances and the first half ended in goalless draw. Lazio effort was rewarded in the second half when Emre can nodded in to his own post to give the home team lead. Juventus levelled it in 77th minute when substitute Cancelo strike within the 18yard box and the old lady was lucky to escape draw when penalty was awarded to them against foul on Cancelo. C Rinaldo converted the penalty and the ended two goals to one in favour of away team. Rinaldo is still the leading goal scorer in Serial A
