For Thursday I chose (wisley I hope) to bet on the match between Burnley vs. Istanbul Basaksehir.

Burnley:

  • Has a total market value of 188,25 millions euros. The most valued player: Chris Wood (Centre-Forward), 26 years old: 18 millions euros.
  • Squad average age: 29,2.
  • Was dominated in the tour game and did not even have a single shot on target.
  • Finished the last season in Premier League on 7th place, which is great for them.
  • In the previous tour of Europa League they eliminated Aberdeen.
  • They started well the new seson in Premier League with a draw on Southampton's field.
  • Players who will miss the game: Nick Pope and Steven Defour.
  • The force of the attack, Chris Wood who missed the tour game is back and will play.

 Istanbul Basaksehir:

  • Has a total market value of 53,30 millions euros. The most valued player: Edin Visca (Right Midfield), 28 years old: 10 millions euros.
  • Squad average age: 30,1.
  • They showed their strength in the tour, but the inaccuracies to score was the problem.
  • Last year they played in Europa League groups.
  • They started well the new championship edition, with a win in front of Trabzon.
  • Has a few top players who have performed in Europe such as: Demba Ba, Adebayor, Gael Clichy or Arda Turan.
  • They have some lot problems. Players who will miss: Alparslan Erdem, Marcio Mossoro, Arda Turan, Alparslan Erdem and Irfan Can Kahveci.

I think Burnley will not lose this game. Football in England is clearly over the one in Turkey and let's not forget that Burnley has a team valued three times more than his opponents. I do not expect too many goals. The white score in the tour will make no one take risks in this second game. Burnley is a good at home and their defense is its strength. They comes after two games in which they closed the gate. Usually my bet would have been Burnley to win & Under 2,5 goals. But, to reduce the risk ...

My bet: Burnley to qualify: @1.87.

Good luck to everyone! And don’t forget: in football everything is possible...
