For the past couple of weeks, @scorum-fans have been running a FREE-BET Giveaway to promote the BetScorum platform. In the first week of the contest, I was selected in the random draw for a chance to make a 10 SCR free bet on any game. I decided to take a chance on AC Milan to beat Napoli at home in the Italy Series A league. The game would finish in a 0-0 draw and I would lose my bet. This weekend, @scorum-fans did the draw for the second set of winners and amazingly I was selected again!!! Talk about having some good luck!! It was as if I had a horseshoe hidden somewhere.
Luck was not on my side in the first FREE BET. I have decided to use this opportunity to bet on the English Premier League where I have been having some mixed results. I started off gangbuster in my first two weeks of BetScorum betting on the EPL but over the past several weeks my results have been a little all over the map. From the sounds of it, the same can be said for most people betting on these games. There have been more than a few surprising results. When going through the schedule of games this week, there are some games that stand out no-brainers and the odds speak to that. Then there are a few games that you can find some pretty decent odds on if you can hit on them.
There were a few games this week that stood out to me.
The first one was the Southampton vs. Crystal Palace game. These two teams are tied in the standings and although they both have losing records, they have both played some very good games against better teams. In terms of scoring, both teams have put up very similar totals but Crystal Palace has been the better team defensively. The teams seem to be trending in opposite directions lately as Southhampton has won two straight since playing Chelsea to a 0-0 draw. This game could go either way, to be honest, but I would pick the home team here.

Another interesting game in the Fulham vs. Brighton Hove match. Fulham has been struggling this year and they are just trying to stay out of the table basement. Fortunately for them, Huddersfield is one of the only teams that they have been able to beat this season. Brighton Hove has been up and down this year and can be a little bit Jekyll and Hyde at times. Brighton Hove has scored 4 more goals this year but Fulham has given up a whopping 51 goals and has been dominated in terms of possession. I personally see the downward spiral continuing for Fulham and would take the away team in this one with great odds.

Another intriguing match and the one that I have selected for my Free Bet is the Huddersfield vs. Everton game. Huddersfield has simply been a tire fire this year and with only two wins they are securely in the basement on the EPL. Everton, on the other hand, has been playing some very good football this year and they typically beat the teams that they are supposed to beat. This has them sitting in 11th spot and with a win over Huddersfield, they could jump as high as 7th. This is an important 3 points for Everton and they have scored almost 3 times as many goals as their opponent. My selection here is Everton.

Here's hoping that I have better luck with this Free Bet than I did on the last one. I have been super lucky to get selected a second time and I would really like to make the most of it.
